A Play-Yan Fanfiction

Notes from the Writer (and more)

This fanfiction is based on the original Play-Yan media player, a bit of the Glee Club singers here and there, OCs, and headcanons. No, I'm not calling him a media player, but there is a media player named after him. And yes, I have one.

And now, here's some history.

My obsession with Play-Yan started in 2016, the same year the Ginger The Dog channel was created. It started somewhere between late May to early June. It could have been earlier than that.

I have a original model 3DS and I had it since March 2016. I put a MP3 file on the included SD card (I don't know when) and I went through the visualizers. Since then, I put lots of commercials on it. And yes, I listened to commercials. My favorites were the Cra-Z-Art commercials, because they have lots of songs, like Crazy Lights, and Cra-Z-Sand.

I looked up 3DS Sound a lot, and I also went to the comments. It really did not help until I found a video of the original Play-Yan media player. One of the comments mentioned 3DS Sound, and I found the answer. Since then, I have been obsessed. It was a very weak obsession, until now.

Sometime in 2016, I thought the original was so hard to find, and my 2016 self said this: "You can only get the micro."

In 2020, things changed. I found the original. It was April 29, and I got it on May 15. They said I would get it in June, but it came in early.

And now, I finally made one of my dreams come true! Four years of an obsession, and I finally have it.

Here's some stuff about the story. Some chapters are in Play-Yan's view, while the other parts are with the other characters and their views.

Since the story is based off the media player itself, it might be as accurate, but obviously, it's not. It has headcanons as well as other characters.
