Search beyond

Chapter 5

Nife's POV:

Knowing well that the search could turn out hopeless,I knew I had to try,also switching on the television I tried to search different channels in search of any news referring to abduction of a child,but looking recently I couldn't find any.

The relief I felt was minimal,I tried to reason that since there is no news of that sort that means that maybe it had happened in the past or maybe it was my over-active mind.

But deep down I knew in my heart that the girl was real and that it was happening now,I couldn't think of any reason why her parents would not have raised any alarm by now.

Was she an orphan even at that at least every child deserved to have an home,I mused.
I laughed a bitter laugh at that,well it isn't the fairy-tales,I just had to pray something would come up quick,maybe a search I was hopeful.

Long ago,grandnana had givien me a journal,it was a bit large that I felt I would have no use for it and was even contemplating using it to scribble and jot more for my herbs,but grandnana had been strict saying ' you would know when you need it' ,then I had laughed right back at her and told her that it was just another book and would be used for my scribblings just like every other one before and after it.
  But knowing the deep respect I had for grandnana I couldn't find it in me to scribble and so I kept it,that was until this moment.

I knew my time had come,it was now time for me to jot my dream into it,and now more than ever,the purpose of this book scared me because it brought about the fact that there would be so much more to fill in this book.

Knowing this now,I felt like pulling my hair out,fearing for my sanity,this couldn't continue for long ,something or someone had to save me before I ran mad from all this.

Taking out the pen attached to the great journal ,I took a seat and with shaking hands I turned the first page over......
