AN: This is a quirkless au. Slight gore warning.
(Y/N)'s pov:
I turned slowly, dreading what I would find. Sure enough, Blue stood behind me, stareing at the shattered remains on the floor.
"Look, Blue-" I started. He held up a hand and I flinched. He walked over and gingerly picked up one of the larger pieces of glass. Then his fingers tightened around one end.
"You," he said, his voice dangerously quiet. "You should know better. Here, let me teach you."
I screamed as he brought the jagged glass down on my tail. I struggled to pull away, flipping over in the process. He slammed his foot down on my tail, tearing the delicate membrane.
"Ah, ah, ah," he said, his voice full of malice. "No running."
He slashed my tail three more times. I cried out, blood streaming from the jagged gashes.
"Now, does my new attraction have a name other than it?" Blue said, stepping off of my fins and dropping the bloody glass.
"(Y-y/n)," I stuttered, dark tears streaming down my face.
"Good mer," Blue purred. He turned. "DABI!" He shouted.
A new man sidles over. I noticed his face and neck was covered in scars. "Yeah Shigaraki?"
"Take it to tank A. I don't care how you do it." Blue- or Shigaraki- said. "And get someone to clean up this mess."
"Sure handy-man," Dabi said. He grabbed me under the arms and dragged me across the floor. Smears of diluted blood trailed behind me. He pulled me up a flight of stairs and dumped me into a large tank. Slightly stunned I let myself sink to the bottom. There was a bed and a few other accessories.
"Stupid Shigaraki," I murmured to myself. Then I passed out.
When I woke there was a crowd of people on the other side of the glass. I flipped upright, wincing slightly as the cuts on my tail stretched, and swam for the nearest wall. I pressed my hands to the glass. Human children smiled at me, seemingly amazed by my tail.
"Hi, can you help me?" I said with a smile. Suddenly I heard my own voice from outside the glass.
"Hi, my name is (y/n). I was rescued from Sakura Lake." I whipped around, trying to figure out why my voice was saying things without my permission.
"That's not what I said. And I wasn't rescued!" I shouted.
"I love to see all of the smiles on your faces."
"Shut up voice!"
"I'm glad I was saved."
"Saved my ass..." I grumbled, skulking to the bottom of the tank again. How was I gonna get out of here?Bakugou pov:
"Shut up Shitty-hair! I'm not coming!" I shouted at Kirishima over the phone.
"Come on Bakubro! The aquarium got a new exhibit today." He said.
"And I care why?" I griped.
"Because you need to hang out with us sometime. It might as well be doing something fun." I growled at that price of terrible logic.
"Fine. As long as Pikachu isn't there."
"Yes!!" He cheered. I pulled the phone away from my ear. "See you in ten!" Then he hung up.
I growled and tugged on a jacket and shoes. That stupid girl from the lake wouldn't get out if my head.
"Water-girl you are an idiot." I said out loud. In a few minutes Kirishima was at my door. We headed out to see this 'New Exhibit'.
When we got to the aquarium a huge sign stated 'LOV Said has new sights!'.
"Well that's a shitty advertisement," I remarked. Kirishima ignored this and pulled me through the crowd. He bought us tickets and we walked through the doors.
We froze.
"It's her." I said. "Stupid fucking Water-girl."
