This is my best day. Today, Zack was born. I was also promoted to 1st Class SOLDIER of the SHINRA Armed Forces. I also asked Director Lazard if I can take a temporary leave so that I can have a little time with my little Zack. Lazard said,"Yes, but it won't be long until you return to the field. I'll call you if we need your help." Athena was so happy. Finaly, no guns, no rockets, and no fear of death. Just Zack and Athena. Nothing else.

So, what does it feels to be with your son? What does it feels to be with your family? What does it feels to be finally home? Is it good? Is it bad? Those are questions I ask myself. This feeling is very good. Zack and Athena makes my day very special. Suddenly, I recieved a phone call from Lazard. I immedietly picked up the phone and he said,"Check your E-mail Mike." I asked,"What happened?" He simply replied,"Just go do it yourself." I went to my computer and checked my E-mail. I saw a mail from Mr. Shinra.

I started packing up my things to be ready. I went to Camp Feral to get some stuff when I received a note from Jeremy, the 2ND Class SOLDIER of SHINRA Armed Forces. Jeremy is also my best friend. Jeremy wrote,"We will guard Asaki." Oh, I thought we will have a meeting about "PROJECT G". But why will we guard it. It's not like Wuntai Troops will come and destroy Asaki Laboratory.
Friday, MARCH 20, 2068
Today we will go to Asaki and "guard" it. I said I will return in a while and left. While we are on our way to Asaki, a dead Wuntai troop fell from a tree. That is weird. What is a dead enemy troop doing here? Is he the only one? We don't even know. But we just ignored it and we kept moving.
We finaly reached Asaki. Well, no Troops, no harm right? Well I was wrong. 3 hours of guarding, a grenade went off and killed 2 SOLDIER. We were ambushed by Wuntai Troops. One of the scientist yelled," Keep them off a little more! Then we go!" We did kept them off a little more and went to our truck. I noticed a baby on a capsule. I asked one of the scientists,"What is that?" The scientist replied," That is our "PROJECT G" a.k.a "GENESIS"." We retreated back to Camp Feral with the scientists and "GENESIS" I soon learned that "GENESIS" is a product of a human with the cells of an unidentified being named "JENOVA" . I asked Dr. Grey what and who is this "JENOVA". Dr. Grey replied,"JENOVA is an alien like being that crached here on Earth. We are still studying it's origin." So that is what JENOVA is, a creepy ugly looking alien.

After searching the base of the Wuntai Troops that attacked us, we finally saw the base 20 km east of Nibelheim. we are planning a full scale attack on that base. This might be my last message to you Zack. Take care of your mother. I might not get out of this alive. So always be a good boy. Goodbye
