I was being dragged out of my two bedroom apartment and thrown against a police car as a police officer read me my Miranda rights and the other held me securely against the car. I was in total shock about what was happening.

Remember that time when Drea and I's exes were trying to kill us for revenge but I ended up killing them before they could kill us? Well the case went cold because they couldn't find the bodies but somehow they say that they have a witness. So they put an warrant out for my arrest and here I am now on the way to Chatham County Jail.

I couldn't believe that dumb ass shit I did almost 5 years ago has caught up with me. My record was clean, nothing not one charge but now I have not one but 2 murders being charged against me that I had nearly forgotten about. After Drea left I started getting serious about dealing and making money because I didn't want to go to college. Now I wish I did.

I wonder who the witness is because it was only Drea and I there that night and we only told Bri and Keem. I hate to say it but it has to be between them two, I know me and Keem been boys but its hard to trust anybody nowadays and Bri, I don't even know about her mane. I have to call Lisa and let her know what's going on cause I'ma miss my baby Mizani she is my world and my everything she turned my life around. I just wish this was all a dream and I could wake up.

"You have an collect call from an inmate at Chatham County Jail name Dre Henderson, do you accept these charges?"

"Yes" I hurriedly answered trying to figure out why the fuck my nigga was in jail.

"Hello?"

"Wassup, bruh why the fuck you in jail?"

"They had a warrant out for my arrest from that shit long time ago"

"What the fuck are you talking about?"

"Chi-Chi and Chris mane"

"Fuck! Are you serious right now!? How much time you looking at?"

"I don't know man when I was talking to my lawyer last week he said up to 20 to 25 years mane. I don't know if I'ma be able to do it bruh and they talking bout some witness"

"20 to 25 years? What the fuck bruh! They have no type of hard evidence against you except for that damn witness. What fucking witness!?"

"Mane I don't even know but I'ma keep in touch if I can the phone about to hang up. Bye man tell everybody I love them"

The line clicked before I could say anything and I just sat there in shock fully taking in everything that Dre just told me. I can't believe this nigga really facing 20 to 25 years over some reckless shit he did back in the day. But now that I think about it he had security cameras all around his house unless his stupid ass got rid of the tapes I got to meet him so we can figure all of this out.

"Chatham County Jail main office this is Tina speaking how may I help you?"

"I was calling to see when can Dre Henderson get visitations he was just recently booked I'd say a couple of hours ago"

"Um...hold on second while I run his name in the system"

"Ok" After waiting for the longest 3 minutes of my life she finally taken me off of hold.

"Ok Sir, I ran his name and you would have to wait until next Sunday to visit him. Can I please have your first and last name so we can run it through him to put you on his visitation list"

"My name is Hakeem Boyd, H-A-K-E-E-M B-O-Y-D"

"Thank you, is that all I can help you with today?"

"Yes and thank you so much for your help"

I hung up before she could say anything else. I need to get into these streets and see what's really going on with my nigga Dre before they lock him up for good.

"You can put the TV right there sir" I told the moving people that was helping me put the furniture in my new 3 bedroom townhouse in Pooler.

I just wanted a new start for me and Kamarion it was too much going on in Savannah with all of the shootings and sadly my cousin was killed in the mix of the craziness.

I went to a small little college and gotten my RN and I work at an local nursing home here in Pooler. Ever since Drea left I didn't really associate with anybody and I went into a little depression because my emotions were on a high because I was pregnant.

I really didn't expect for my life to turn out like this but I can't say that I'm happy but I'm comfortable.

I just really feel like something is missing in my life and I need to figure it out. I'm not the same Aubreyhoner from high school I have totally changed and I had to change quickly for Mari and our future.

I had to stop thinking bout me and I had to think about Mari first then me. He really made me change my priorities for the better.

But every time I look into Mari's eyes I see the man I fell in love with and it breaks my heart every time over and over again.

"Ma'm? Ma'm?" The moving guy said snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yes-Yes?"

"We're done here"

"Oh. Thank you. Thank you. Here's you guys tip" I said handing him $80 to split among the 4 of them.

"Thanks"

"Mommy eat eat"
