Ch. 4

Masaru was walking down the hall.

[Flashback]

"What are you talking about?!" Masaru was shocked.

"If you take me before I'm married then I'll be ruined and I won't be forced into marriage." Chiyoki explained.

"Do you understand what your saying?"

"Yes" she answered with a straight face.

"I'm sorry but the answer is no Chiyoki." Masaru stood up.

"Ok, I'm sorry I sprung that one you. I was too shaken and wasn't thinking right." Chiyoki looked down.

"It's ok. I'm gonna take a walk."

[End Flashback]

Masaru walked underneath a tree outside of the castle. He climbed up the tree and laid down on sturdy branches as looked up at the night sky.

What will I do in the fight? He thought.  He already beat me and that was training. He'll go all out in the actual fight.

Masaru just watched the stars.

🎶 It's impossible, It's not probable, You're irresponsible, Too many obstacles, You gotta stop it yo, You gotta take it slow, You can't be a pro, Don't waste your time no more🎶

(Fight Back-NEFFEX)

Masaru looked to the side to see Takashi.

"What do you want?" Masaru grosned.

"To tell you that your not going to win." Takashi said.

"What makes you so sure?"

"Let me show you." Takashi grabbed Masaru's head and threw Masaru's spirit out of his body.

"What the..." Masaru looked around.

"Fly around the castle." Takashi said as Masaru did so.

Masaru flew around the castle. He went to Chiyoki's room. He saw her dressing and Itami walking in. Chiyoki walked to Itami and started kissing him. Masaru watched in horror as his heart sank into his stomach.

Back at the tree, Takashi was holding Masaru's head with devilish magic circling around his hand and Masaru's head. "Got to keep the illusion for a little longer." He said.

Back to Masaru, he just kept watching as he teared up. As he kept watching he could hear Takashi say "There's no way you'll win. Have you seen him. Against you he already has one win. But there's no way you'll get a win."

Masaru was brought back. He was crying at this point.

"Poor poor son. You little cry baby." Takashi disappeared.

"ITAMI!!!" Masaru ran to Chiyoki's room.

When he got there he saw only Chiyoki. He looked around the room with eyes as red as blood.

"What are you doing? Why are your eyes red?" Chiyoki asked.

"Where is Itami?!" Masaru said.

"He's not here. He hasn't been here since you got rid of him." Chiyoki said.

"LIES!! Where is he?!" Masaru ran out of the room. He heard Itami back in the training area. "Come here you power stealing cowardice piece of shit!"

"Back for more. I guess I can give you one last training sesh. But if I do, our battle is noon tomorrow." Itami said.

"Deal." Masaru unsheathed his sword.

Itami unsheathed his sword too and it got the red tint again.

"Don't hold back." Itami smirked.

"I don't plan too!!" Masaru charged towards Itami.

Itami dodged. Masaru swung towards Itami's side, he parried. Masaru gave Itami swing after swing but they were always parried, making Masaru angrier.

He did it. That devil actually made Masura this angry. I'll have him injured before the fight. Itami thought.

"Damn you Takashi...damn you Itami...damn YOU BOTH!!!" Masaru did a downward swing towards Itami.

Huh?! He knows Takashi? Itami thought as his sword was knocked out of his hand by Masaru.

"You're done Itami." Masaru said as a second Masaru cut his leg and he yelled in pain.

"Foolish Masaru." Itami leaned towards Masaru and whispered into his ear. "I don't know what that devil made you see, but I'm glad I made a deal with him." Itami walked away and Masaru was carried to the infirmary.

Masaru woke up the next day. He looked around his bed, no one was there. A nurse walked by.

"Excuse me, did anyone visit me while I was unconscious?" Masaru asked.

"No, Princess Chiyoki was informed but said she didn't want to see you." The nurse answered and handed him a note. "She left you this note."

Masaru opened the letter and started reading it.

Dear _ _ _ _ _,
                        Please leave me and
_ _ _ _ _ _ alone. I don't want anything to do with you. I want to marry your brother, not you.
                                                 Sincerely,
                                                      Chiyoki

Masaru was crying while reading that letter not realizing the gaps in the note. The only girl I love and she's with that shitbag of a prince. Masaru dropped the note and walked out of the infirmary.

The note landed with its back facing up and writing was on it. It said...

P.S. Chiyoki wrote this to Itami. I erased the names. This was part of my deal with him.

Takashi smirked down in hell. "Stupid kid of mine. Didn't even realize the blanks. YOU HEAR ME ANGEL, HE WON'T BE KING!!" He yelled to the heavens.

Masaru fell right into Itami's and Takashi's trap. What'll he do to get out of this. Don't forget the prophecy.
