It was raining hard outside. Gabriella was staring at the blurry window, looking at a distance, as if she was thinking of something really deep. All of a sudden, tears started to roll down her soft, pinkish cheeks. She took three sheets of tissue paper , wiped her face, took a deep breath , and smiled."Everything is going to be fine.", she whispered to herself. She was about to turn the lights off when she heard someone crying from downstairs. She hurriedly ran towards the door and rushed down the living room. She saw her father lying on their old and dusty couch, weeping in great sorrow. William, Gabriella's father was eventually disheartened. It seems like his whole world was torn apart.
Gabriella waited for his father to finally slumber. After some time, William have fallen asleep. Gabriella took a thick blanket and covered his father's body to keep him warm for the night. She was really bummed out. She's anxious about his father. He became really depressed since his wife, Victoria met the accident. Victoria is currently in the hospital and she is in a very critical condition. She has been staying there for about four months since the accident in July.
Gabriella was on her way to her room when her father spoke.
" Victoria! Don't leave me! Don't leave our children!
Don't leave us! We need you! Victoria! Please!", he said.
Gabriella heard everything that William said. She tried to hold her tears back but she could not help it. She still needs her mother and she loves her very much.
William Winterbourne and Victoria Carson used to be classmates in elementary. During their high school years, Victoria moved to Louisiana for it was her father's choice while William stayed in Illinois. After a few years in high school, William and Victoria met once again. It was during their college years that they have intimately fallen in love with each other. Ever since before, William has always admired Victoria's simplicity and grace. He tried courting her and William patiently waited for her sweetest affirmation. Victoria, on the other hand, was a very loyal lover. William and Victoria became a profoundly amorous couple. They were very compassionate to each other. They shared themselves during the good times and the bad. They found love, care, and support from each other. They both graduated college and found jobs.
After a few years in their relationship, they decided to tie the knot. They were blessed with four good-looking children namely, Nicholas, Gabriella, Cynthia, and Zachary. Nicholas, the eldest son, is already an architect in profession. He graduated about a year ago. Gabriella, who is the second child and the eldest daughter in the family, is now a 3rd year college student. A year after Gabriella's birth, Victoria once again gave birth to Cynthia who is the second daughter in the family. Zachary, the youngest child, is a high school student, a varsity player and an outstanding student in his class. Their family had a very affectionate relationship. They cared and supported each other, stood by in times of troubles and comforted in times of sadness and weariness. The parents enforced strict discipline to their children. The children were given freedom but they had to take full responsibility of the consequences in the actions that they make. They respected their parents and they have grown to become fun-loving and caring people.
William worked as an accountant while Victoria worked as a dentist. Even though their jobs created a huge gap between them, they were able to find time for them to be together.
After dropping her three children to their schools, Victoria was on her way to her clinic. She was driving when she suddenly received a phone call. It was from an unknown number.
" Hello?"
"Yes?"
"Is this Dr.Winterbourne?"
