• Backstory Hyejoo's family wasn't rich but they also weren't poor either. They had enough money to afford to get by and she was happy with her life. She had always been creative growing up but her mother wasn't very supportive. Her father had been the one there to support her and that's why she was closer to him. Her mother had been sick ever since she could remember and was in and out of the hospital frequently. Her dad bought Hyejoo her first camera and she used it as a way to cope with her mother's sickness. When she was finishing highschool, Her mother had passed away and she put down her camera for a while. It wasn't until Hyejoo found her passion for photography in college that she actually pursued it as a career path.
