Chapter 22: Flowers and Compliments.

Hudson's p. O. V:

Wow something smells nice in here I said as I entered her apartment, which was neatly arranged and she was looking amazing as usual with an infectious smile plastered on her face.

I handed her the flowers and chocolate that I bought along the way here, didn't want to come empty handed. Thanks so much Hudson she said happily while I walked over and took a sit on the couch.

Amber's p. O. V:

OMG he got me flowers and chocolate, that's so cool. Am so happy right now, he seems to be in a better mood this evening. I wonder what he's up to, with that killer smile on his face... Today must be a good day.

I went over to the kitchen and put the flowers in a vase, then I set both the vase and the chocolate on the island... The flowers is really very beautiful. I made lasagna so I quickly served it and took it to the living room and set it on the coffee table and also got juice while sneaking a glance at him and he's looking really good in his red round neck long sleeve.

After setting everything down, I sat beside him and we started eating, then he complimented my food which made me very happy. He seems really calm and sappy today.

We enjoyed the meal in comfortable silence, when we finished eating I cleared the table and I arranged the dishes in the dish washer before going back to the living room and sat beside him.

He then looked at me with a smile and said he has something to tell me. I suddenly got scared and nervous, I have no idea of what he wants to say so I got really anxious. Oh am sorry did I do something wrong, I didn't mean to offend you I said to him in a rush.

Hudson's p. O. V:

Hey calm down, it's no big deal. You have done nothing wrong, if anything you have been perfect and awesome all the way and sincerely I am glad I met you, you are an amazing person, I said to her and I noticed her scrunched up face and tensed body instantly relaxed.

I really like you because you have an amazing personality, you are caring, you are sweet and very beautiful. Right now the only thing I want is to be selfish and keep you for myself. I know am not rich and I don't have enough money to take care of you but I still want to try, so I was wondering if you will like to be my girlfriend, I asked with an hopeful smile.

Amber's p. O. V:

I was stiff and tensed as all the air left my lungs. I was shocked as fuck and happy, I couldn't believe what I just heard... I discreetly pinched myself to know if am dreaming or something, nope it's not a dream. I nodded my head frantically because I couldn't trust my mouth to make meaningful words. Then his face lite up and he gave me a big smile and I looked into his eyes and I finally found my words... Yes I will love to be your girlfriend.

After those words left my mouth, he pulled me into a tight hug and we were there in that position for a while before he pulled back and cupped my cheeks in his hands and looked deep into my eyes and then to my lips and then he slide his thumb over my lips before he gave me a kiss. Then he pulled me closer and my head was on his chest as he stroke my hair.
