"Would you please stop laughing? I don't find this funny at all." I wailed as I slowly followed Roman to the front door.
"I'm sorry, baby, but you're walking like a 90-year-old," he said, smiling like an idiot.
"Yeah, yeah, and whose fault is that? Whose idea was it for me to go work out with you? Everything hurts. I probably won't get out of bed alone for a week," I snorted. I would have liked to cross my arms over my chest, but that was out of the question.
"Stop being such a drama queen. You'll be fine. Maybe a little sore here and there. But it'll pass. Next time it won't be so bad." he replied casually.
"Easy for you to say, Mr. Universe. There' s definitely not gonna be a next time. And I'm not being dramatic. It really hurts. But you'll find that out if you have to carry me everywhere for the next seven days." This time I was the one smiling.
"Oh, and that's not dramatic now? You want to be carried around for a week like an infant? That's not exaggerating at all, Y/N. We will cross this bridge when the time comes, okay!?" Roman replied.
"Sometimes I don't like you at all, Ro," I said pouting.
"You love me and you know it," he said quite happily. "Come on grandma I'll run you a bath with Epsom salts. It'll help your sore muscles." He came over to me and lifted me into his strong arms. "By the way, I wouldn't mind carrying you around for a week. Because I love you too, Y/N." He leaned over and gave me a passionate kiss. That made me forget my pain for a moment. And with that Roman carried me into the bathroom where he was preparing the bath.
Hmm... I would never get enough of that man. Oh, such a beautiful soul.
