Episode 9 - Fangirl + Worry

'Cooperation seems to have improved for the past few months,' Kanata could only think assessing the gameplay that was infront of her. Although it was faster she could still see enough details at this speed. It was still usual to her. She simply clapped with much slowness at them.

After jotting a few things down she started to hand out towels and bottles according to their preferences and so on.

'Seems too calm to be normal,' she thought as she handed things. Or was it the creepiness that was seeping into the gym.

"Thanks, Yume-san," Kita told her. She ignored the thought. It wasn't needed now.

Somewhat mustard blonde felt his fangirl radar kick in. It was likely due to the aura that he felt stare into his back and someone else's back. A vengeful and envious one. The 'fangirl' seemed to be staring at Kita, a red flag in his book. As always.

'Nana-chan is also near Kita-san, I should probably ask her to deal with it.'

So off he went towards them with his persona in place. Slinging his arm around the short manager's shoulder. Smirkiness plastered on him.

"Cap'n, can Nana-chan deal with a fangirl? There seems to be one at the door," he went with a slight attitude.

"So your team's manager has to rat out a Ratette that's at the door?" she simply restated what he said.

'Nana-chan... do you know how she's f****** staring at Kita-san?' He wanted to tell her but to keep it in, he gripped onto her jacket. To signal something likely wrong to her.

"So...," he tried to not mutter. "Is that a yep?"

There wasn't much to say about the interaction, it was like waiting for your father to let you go to a classmate's birthday party with your dog. Kita being the father, Atsumu being the child, and Yume being the dog. A weird analogy but it's to understand the point.

Their senior simply said, "If you're willing to leave after cleaning up then sure."

A knock echoed causing them to turn their head to some degree. There was a girl at the door. All attention was on her.

"Umm, can I talk to Yume? I'm her bestie," the girl stated. She looked quite average, with short dark brown locks and black eyes and slight peachy skin.

'Nana-chan has no besties... I'm the closest to it,' his brain information contradicted her words.

"Ah, Aya-chan, what're you doing here?" She responded. Obviously playing along, according to her rival. Lifting his arm up from herself, he pinched him signaling not to do anything drastic.

'What the f*** ya doin'?'

"I'll refill bottles after this, anyone of rest better do it or else hell breaks loose," she casually reminded them before walking off.

"So what's the business—"

"Get the f*** away from my Atsumu-kun." A Ratette huh? Not another competitor with me and that Rat Prince, Kanata boredly pointed out.

"Why should I? I'm manager for a good reason," she simply questioned the girl's intentions.

"Then why go along with my intentions?" The Ratette went on.

"It couldn't be that bad—"

"Then should I spread about that 'Homicidal Incident' with Haru?" The Ratette threatened.

The grey haired girl still had the same demeanour. She went closer to the fangirl and caressed her face.

"Weren't you a victim of the HS?"

Her eyes shot in distinct fear. The air felt thicker for her. As if there wasn't oxygen but another gas she was breathing.

"A - ya - chan?" The creepiness of her voice was enough to freak out the taller long haired girl.

Aya the Ratette shoved her to the wall and sentimentally cried all her (Aya's) horrible behaviour towards Yume.

"Of all those in the fandom and it had to be an outsider to deprive him of the attention we gave him!" her voice was cracking.

"Do you think he even wants that attention?" Yume simply asked. "Miya-san doesn't care for it as much as he cares for volleyball."

"Ofcourse I know that!" the girl snapped back at her.

"Then respect it. If you're such a fangirl to that level then you must know about how he dislikes fangirls of your caliber, especially when it's during important matches."

"Then why're you so close with Atsumu-kun!" she nearly screamed it at her. Her hands were aiming to choke her but Yume avoided it. That girl was desperate

"A manager's job is to make sure those under their care are fine. Which includes Miya-san," she simply deadpanned.

The girl was silent and possibly rage crying. Kanata felt like smirking slightly and she did.

"Thanks for the talk Aya-chan. Let's meet again," she told her normally before whispering, "when I can properly make you feel shame."

She waved her phone slightly to give the fearful girl the idea.

'But how does she know about that incident though?' she tried to reason. 'It was kept under wraps for the most part.'

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I'm a bit late with the update I guess you could say I was trying to do some improvements to my room and forgot to update... I just made Aya-chan up and for this chapter solely. The story doesn't have a lot of haikyu canon plot.

Also originally this was gonna be more OP of her but like she kinda is a very unmoving and kinda cold character so i found it wrong when i put her being extra atsumu-like with the original idea being like her flipping an uno reverse card.

SO if you like that imagine that instead. I won't change much.

Also I wanna write a fanfic where it's like Kageyama is Iwaizumi and genderbent Oikawa's child but he's under the care of genderbent/ auntie Suga who is his caretaker. And then like Hinata with Natsu are like abandoned i guess? And their guardians/caretakers are Bokuto and Akaashi. All this happens on a really rainy day.

But that'll happen when i end this fanfic horribly! Cuz i haven't tried to wrap up the plot points yet.
