You walk down the street towards the drug store, your pocket filled with a wad of cash that you earned doing an odd job for your neighbor. As you push the door open, you notice something different. Instead of the normal store clerk, there is a man in his thirties, with an dazed look on his face. Something's off about that guy. You pick out a gift card to (insert favorite online shopping website) and set it on the counter. As if the man was a robot programmed for this purpose, he picked the gift card, scanned it and held out his hand and said in a surly rich Italian sounding voice, "24.23 dollars please". Something was definitely wrong. You quickly hurried out of the store and decided to stay out for a bit longer and go to the library. But as you walk, you can't get that man out of your head. That man wouldn't , and hasn't missed work for a day of his life. You know him quite well actually. He told you about his wife and kids once, while he was scanning your purchase. He's the best worker they have there so he wouldn't get laid off. Just then, you pass a missing poster with a mans face on it... That's the store clerk! You look down the street and notice dozens upon dozens of missing posters, showing pictures of men, women and children.

Name: Quinton Kirkland

Age: 32 years

Date of disappearance: December 12, 2014

Witness to disappearance: "I was shopping for a birthday card for my mum. I looked one second and there he was, lining up the gum packets in one row. I look down to observe a card for a second and I look up again to see he was gone! I thought nothing bout it at the mo, but then I looked up again to see a man standing in his place wearing the exact thing the other man was, store uniform with khakis. I dunno what happened, I just freaked out and went to a different store."

How strange. You hope the he gets found soon. Ever since you moved to the UK with your mom, everything has just been getting weirder and weirder. As you move down the street, you notice it's not just the store clerk. Dozens upon dozens of posters about missing men and women, all having the same thing happen to them. There one moment, gone the next. Then, you look to your right to see a handsome young man strolling towards you, and extend his hand to you. "Hullo there! I see that your just as interested in all of this as I am", he said while widely gesturing to the large amount of missing posters. "Oh!Where are my manners? I'm The Doctor, pleasure to meet you!"
You shake his hand firmly and respond, "Hi, this all is very curious don't you think? It's nice to meet you, I'm (Y,N)". He nods and looks at you for a minute then asks, "How would you like an adventure?". You stand shocked for a few seconds before answering without thinking, "Yes! I'd love to!". Ugh, why didn't you ask what he meant? Idiot. He smiles then takes your hand and tugs along towards a blue police box, the missing posters forgotten.

What on earth is this man doing!? He opens the door and walks in, leaving you outside. You peer in before jumping a few feet away. "WHAT THE HELL?!" You screech. Inside of that police box is a huge room with a large center piece, decorated with lights and switches. The Doctor frowns. "Never heard that before". You cautiously take baby steps inside of the box and see the man flipping switches and pushing buttons. You step closer before he turns to you and says "Pick a year" . "Excuse me?!" You sputter. "I said, Pick. A . Year.", he said slowly. You think for a moment before deciding. "Take me to yesterday", you said bluntly. The Doctor raised his eyebrow and repeated, "Yesterday?". "Yesterday", you confirmed. He shrugged and looked at you curiously. He began pressing buttons, but right I the middle, a noise similar to a phone ringing rang throughout the police box. The Doctor looked up, and sent a confused glance towards the door of the box. He stopped what he was doing and walked briskly to the door. You followed him, unsure of the situation. He stepped out and opened a small hatch on the outside of the seemingly small box, and pulled out a phone. He held it up to his ear and said "Hullo...?". You heard a voice in the phone, but couldn't tell who it was. "The Doctor leaned back a bit and whispered, "Alright, I'll come with a friend". He hung up the phone and began to walk down the street. "Where are we going?!", you shouted, trying to keep up with his quick pace. "221b Baker Street. We're going to meet a friend of mine."

ALRIGHT THATS THE FIRST CHAPTER I HOPE YOU ENJOYED GOOD BYEEEEE
