Baekhyun faced her with a dull gaze. "You said you don't remember me a while ago." He said, pointing an accusatory finger at her.

Taehee gave him a blank stare before tilting her head to the side, her eyes trailing around her surroundings then she rubbed her chin. "Uh?"

Baekhyun said: What the hell??? For the nth time in his mind that day. He didn't want to think about this girl yet everything she did and behaved like was questionable. Anyone would question her so his confusion and curiosity was justifying. What he couldn't understand was that the genuine look of confusion on her face when she gave him an 'Uh' in reply. She really did look lost. Something was wrong and Baekhyun had to figure that out, somehow.

"Look," He sent her a pointed look when he noticed her biting her lips, to which she blinked at him before removing her fingers from her mouth. "You told me you didn't know me a while ago and now you're telling me you know. What's going on?"

"I did?" She scratched her head while pouting.

"Yes, you did."

"Oh."

Baekhyun's mind was on a whirlwind. Is that all she had to say to him? He narrowed his eyes at her as if trying to read her mind through her face.

"What?" She poked her tongue out again.

He decided he probably shouldn't pester the girl anymore. It didn't matter whether she remembered him or not. Then he began to wonder if he scared the girl out with his pointed looks and stares.

"Nothing." He sighed heavily, massaging his temples.

Baekhyun drove for thirty minutes straight: not looking at his right to where the girl was sitting, not looking at his left either. His eyes were on the road, his mind forcing him to think of nothing but the wedding coming up.

Later, he pulled over before a closed shopping mall and as if on cue, his phone began to buzz in his pocket, once again. He pulled it out to see his mother on its display. "Yes, mom?"

"Baekhyun, really?" The older woman sounded disappointed.

Baekhyun knew what was coming up for him. He couldn't help but feel his dislike towards Mr. Kim growing every time. He had insisted that he could pay at least the amount he had saved up for his own wedding but the older man manipulated him into thinking otherwise and he had made one request and that is: keeping it a secret from at least Taeyeon but she turned out be the first person who was informed about it. Maybe it's his fault for falling in that man's trap every time and getting humiliated every time. He could only blame himself.

"I know you're going to say you're disappointed at me and what not."

"I trust you but..." She hesitated for a moment. "I'm your mother and I suggest you to stop Mr. Kim from arranging the wedding."

"Then what do you suggest I should do?"

"You should arrange it with whatever you have in your budget, my son. Yes you've already been humiliated by that filthy rich man twice but doesn't mean you're incapable of doing anything of your own."

He thought about what his mother had suggested. She did have a point and Taeyeon did tell him that he didn't have to go that far and ask her father for money when he couldn't afford it by himself in the first place. Perhaps, he should arrange it by himself.

"Okay."

"Okay?"

"Mom, I'll let him know that I'll arrange it by myself."

"There goes my son."

"I have work to do, I'm hanging up." He turned to find the girl staring at him the whole time.
