Wings Of Fire: The lost Animuses

Chapter 1

Prologue.

Nightspeaker runs through through the cave and the next cave room there was a river flowing down into the mountain

Nightspeaker turns to her mother she says "Nightspeaker you have to take this river to the end you'll be safe"!

I can't leave you I'll stay and defend our home"!! Nightspeaker said crying

"You have always been ready Nightspeaker but you have to leave.. Goodbye Nightspeaker.." she sobbed as she pushed him in the river

Nightspeaker looks at her for the final time as he flows down the river...

Nightspeaker wakes up from sleeping hearing the sound of sheep in the other room in the cave he wakes up putting his bandage around his eyes since he doesn't want to be attracted by how his eyes are burned so he gets up from bed and walks to the lobby

He sees her mother killing off the sheep before she starts to cook it she looks at Nightspeaker with a smile

"Had a nice sleep Nightspeaker"? She said as she continues to cook the sheep's meat

Nightspeaker says "Yeah just like any other night sleep I get" he said grumbly as he walks to her

His mother senses his anger as she stops cooking

"What's wrong Nightspeaker bugs got on you again"?

"Why don't I get to leave the cave while you do" Nightspeaker said

His mother responses with a fast and kindly "Because your not ready to face the world yet but let's just injoy the food I found along the river side"

Nightspeaker looks at the entrance thinking one day he'll be out of this cramped cave and finally see how the world looks like he heard that many terrible things happened but since after the fall of Darkstaker there was peace

He walks back to meet her mother for dinner...

A few hours later

Storm was coming to shore near their home so they started to prepare themselves for impact the storm brought in heavy wind that even trees almost fell down

Nightspeaker was just putting some stuff away before looking at the cave entrance again the wind flows through the cave and hitting his face with a cool air and that's when a idea hit him if he can survive a long time in the storm he can prove himself that he is ready for anything

He quickly moves to the door then jumps off the edge and hears her mother shouting "Nightspeaker"!! But he ignores his mother's call to him and then begins to fly to the storm

The ocean waves went over each other fast and hard rain poured down on his making it harder to fly he watches as the dark clouds make lighting around him so he does something he has never done before he flys down to the huge waves he dodges a wave that almost put in the water then he sees a other wave but huge so he flys over then flying through the dark clouds and sees the sun from the other side then diving back into the storm he heads back to shore when he lands on a rock near the beach

-That was a close one I think I have proven myself that I can survive the real world- he says in his mind

He takes off to the sky again flying back home before someone saw him heading back she orders the rest of the dragons to follow...

Nightspeaker came back and told his mother "See mother I'm not weak I was able to fly in a storm come back unhurt it shows you that I can survive the real world"

His mother was surprised but was still mad at him for leaving but she relief to him safe until her face turned frightened to see the shadows of assassins that came towards them Nightspeaker saw the dragons

Nightspeaker has exposed he and his mother to the rest of the nightwings that were hunting them. Nightspeaker looks at her mother "Who are those dragons"?! Nightspeaker's mother told him "head to the river in the cave"

Nightspeaker looks at her "What's happening mom"! He says as he he heads to the river

"Now"! She said as she leads him to the river in the cave while the assassins came closer to them

Nightspeaker runs through through the cave and the next cave room there was a river flowing down into the mountain

"You have to go Nightspeaker and once you make it to the other side you have to run as far from here as possible I'll be right behind" his mother said as she hears the talons of dragons coming in

"I can't leave you I'll stay and defend our home"!! Nightspeaker said

"You have always been ready Nightspeaker but you have to leave.. Goodbye Nightspeaker.." she sobbed as she pushed him in the river

Nightspeaker was pushed into the where he shouted "No mom"!!!! He was carried away by the currants before the assassins came in where they confronted her

"You'll never get my son you monsters"!!
She said as she attack the dragons she killed the first two dragons with her talons before killing the last two with her fire breath

She hears a familiar voice that she heard a long time ago

"Hello Sightspeaker" the huge dragon said as he grows a grin on his face...

Nightspeaker was able to lift his head on the surface before he reached the end of a waterfall he fell splashing into the water and darkness surrounded him...

He woke up to find himself away from the mountains in a little forest he panicked he said "Where wher- mom"!! He got up and saw the mountains and smoke coming out of it he was only a few miles away he began to fly to his home but when he reaches his home he'll only find chaos...
