"Y/N we know it's a difficult job, but please accept it. The pay is very generous and all you would do is check on Ian every once in a while. You know...to see if he's in his right mind." Mrs. Reyes said with a pleading look in her eyes.
You scanned down the medical file of your potential new patient. As you read, something caught your attention.
"It says here that he was diagnosed at age four, but the personalities didn't appear until age six, do you know why?" You ask curious.
Mrs. Reyes set down her coffee mug on the small table between you and her. "No. Every doctor says Ian was stable throughout those years. What caused the personalities to emerage is unknown."
You nodded at her explanation, but still found it odd. Still scanning the document you caught eye of his age: 20 years old. He was three years younger than you. "I have to go through the hospital resignment first before I start working."
Mrs. Reyes smiled hugely and clasped her hands together with joy. "Thank you so much!"

The strange man kept eye contact with you for a whole minute. His beautiful deep, brown eyes piercing through your defenses with no effort.
"How about I show you something interesting?" He asks with a slight smitk.
He encircled his arm around your waist before you could push him away, but did you want to push him?
Not really.
But reluctantly you say, "No, get lost."
At the end, you ended in his apartment and he ended in your heart.

"This is my son, Ian de Jesus." Mrs. Reyes introduced her son.
You look up from your laptop to find yourself locking eyes with the man you platonically love. But his eyes weren't beautifully deep anymore, they were cloudy, and you realize that he isn't the same person from the other night.
"Nice to meet you doc." Ian says with a warm smile, nothing like the smirk he wore that night.
Your mouth went dry. Which personality did I meet that night?
