-Chapter 9:Exploring the Cave-

3rd person POV~

Minghao woke up and saw sunlight shining into the cave. It was so dark the day before, maybe it is because the sun was setting.

Minghao POV~

"Jun! Jun!" I whisper shouted as he woke up, giving me a confused face. Why is he so cute for!!😭

"Why why???" Jun woke up, thinking that something happened.

"Let's explore further into the cave." I requested.

Wonwoo and Woozi were still sleeping while Jun checked the clock, it's 6a.m. in the morning...

I grabbed my day bag and stuffed some items from the survival kit in, wanting to sneak into the cave before they wake up but...

"Where are u going?" Woozi asked, as he was woken up by me fumbling with his items...

"Ehehe...Woozi hyung... We wanna explore the cave a little..." I replied awkwardly.

"it is very dangerous to go alone... Or even in pairs..." Woozi said.

"But I have Jun! He can protect me!😄" I said, although I know he won't really do anything 😐.

I waited anxiously for them to get ready and we went to explore the cave.

I was looking around for crystals but I heard a small conversation behind me...

"Are u thirsty?" Woozi asked Wonwoo, lowkey protecting him.

"Nope not thirsty. Keep it, don't worry." Wonwoo answered, holding Woozi's hand to assure him.

So envious... Why do Jun never does those things... I thought to myself. Haiz, I shall not think so much:) I set my thoughts aside and realised that Jun was infront of me. Just when I wanted to get close and pass him his water bottle, he slipped on some small stones on the floor.

"Woah!" Jun lost his balance and I caught him in time. He pushed me against the wall as he couldn't balance himself.

Too close.... I felt my face heated up, his warm breath hitting against my lips. I tried to look down but I accidentally made an eye contact with him again. I stared at his face - his eyes, nose and lips looked so in place, as if it was sculpted by the Gods.

Jun raised an eyebrow and gave a smirk. "You like it don't you?"

I frowned in embarrassment and immediately pushed him away lightly. What was I thinking? Me? Falling in love? No way!

He lost his balance and leaned against the another side of the cave and laughed, "Look who's as red as a tomato right now~"

"Y-you're the tomato here!" I retaliated nervously. Despite showing all awkwardness, I still went over to help him up.

Checking his leg, he sprained his ankle. I lightly massaged a little but he twitches and winces in pain.

"Minghao, I'm okay. It's just a little sprain." Jun assured me and I stopped massaging.

Woozi and Wonwoo came over to check on us as we had not catch up for a long period of time.

"Jun, you alright?" Wonwoo asked, worry written all over his face seeing Jun in pain.

"I'm fine Wonwoo. You guys can go in first, I will catch up soon." Jun assured Wonwoo.

Woozi cut in, "Don't catch up with us, go back to the campsite and rest. Don't further strain your leg."

Jun wanted to explore as well, but they already went ahead and proceeded in. Seeing him being unable to walk properly, I went over quickly and piggy back him.

"Yah, you don't have to piggy back me! I can walk!" Jun startled and wriggling himself down my back.

"Be good if you don't want my back to break." I told him and he lied on my back, arms wrapped around my neck.

I can feel his heart beating really fast against my back, so I asked worriedly, "Jun, are you okay...? Your heart's beating a little too fast..."

"I uh... Ahem, I'm fine, no worries." Jun stuttered, and I heard a small sigh from him. I wonder if it was a sigh of relief or a sigh of disappointment...?

I settled Jun down on the ground since I was kinda tired due to carrying Jun. Urgh! Why do you have to be so heavy? When I wanted to stretch myself to relieve my sore muscles, I felt a hand pulling me to the ground. I lost my balance and fell. When I open my eyes, Jun is right in front of me! Oh wait no, I am ON TOP OF HIM! The distance was so close that I can see his flawless skin, light blonde hair and soft pink lips... lips... It is attracting me... I started to lean closer... and closer...

"What are u doing?" Jun asked and smirked with a tinge of playfulness.

"I uh nothing! I-I will go get some wild fruits for you. Just stay here don't move!" After finishing my sentence, I clumsily got up from him and ran out.
