The rest of the weekend flies by and I wake up Monday morning feeling refreshed, my mood has significantly improved, and I'm ready to take on the week head-on. I get dressed and ready for class. I make myself a smoothie to go because I don't plan on stopping by the cafe today. I have a bit of time before class, which I use to stop by one of my professor's office hours to drop off my forms for the project from last week.

I make it to class with 10 minutes left to spare, and I find Harry already there. I slide into the seat beside him. "You're here early," I say in greeting.

"Yeah, had an early gym sesh, so I came in a bit earlier to get some work done. How was the rest of your weekend?"

"Nice, nice and it was okay, just got most of my work for the week done plus Iris was on my back finalizing the theme for the party, so there was that," I say

"Ah nice, did you guys agree on something?"

"I had no say in the matter, but we're going with a masquerade theme, so masks and shit, I guess," I say a little too enthusiastically at the end, and he laughs.

"I'm sure it will be a good time, if there's one thing I know about Iris, it's her ability to throw a wicked party."

"That is very true, but to be honest, I just don't like that much attention on me. I'm very lowkey."

"Oh? I hadn't noticed," he says sarcastically, and I nudge him.

"Fine, I know it's quite obvious" The prof walks in then, and I turn my attention to him while he makes his announcements for the week.

"We still good for Wednesday?" I whisper to him, he starts to nod but

"Oh shit, I promised Cami I would help her with a few things, can we do tomorrow or Thursday? Since your schedule is pretty open?" he asks apologetically.

"Yeah, of course, no worries at all" I smile and say, I return my attention to the professor. There's that feeling again when he mentions he's doing something with Cami; I'm definitely in trouble. I sneak a peek at him, he's the only one in class that's writing physical notes, and I find it endearing. I want to ask him why, but I refrain. I try to pay attention and not let my mind focus on Harry Easton.

Class ends, and we get up at the same time to leave. "So what are your plans for the rest of the day," he asks me as we get into the hallway.

"Not much actually, I think I'm going to head to the gym for a bit and then head home after to do some work, you?"

"Class, class and more class," he lightly laughs as he says this.

"I do not envy you at all; it will be nice to get in a workout, I've missed it even if it's only been two days."

"I know the feeling...." he surprises me by adding, "We should work out together sometime."

I must not have heard him right.

"What?" He chuckles lightly,

"I said we should work out together sometime. I mean, unless you're scared, you can't keep up with me" Typical cocky guy, why am I not surprised.

"I mean, you should be the one scared of keeping up with me, just saying?"

"Oh, is that so? Are you challenging me, Nat?"

I shrug and say, "Maybe, I guess we'll just have wait and see who's all mouth here," he laughs.

"Fine, how about we hit the gym after or next brainstorm sesh" Oh, it is so on.

"Sounds good to me," we step out of the building, and I add, "Let me know what day works best for you between tomorrow and Thursday, and we can go from there."
