In the land of Aldford there was a castle this small castle, built of ivory and set in the middle of a lake. It contains a private courtyard and appears to be overcrowded. It is approached by a wide paved road. Nearby is a thriving farming outpost in which there is a colony of griffins. The holding is rich in history and folklore.

The outpost where the griffins are, there lived a 14 year old boy whose name was Kinbur. Kinbur was not a hunter, gatherer, fisher or builder but he was great at farming (many people did not like them because of how much money they made from little work). Kinbur had brown-reddish spikey hair with green eyes he was very pessimistic.

His griffins where well fed and he kept good care of them. The outpost was at the base of a large mountain (shemuck in Jape-keklish). He could take care of himself for his parents had been killed in 'Gyjip war' when he was 9 it was a terrible time for everyone, the Shemucktucal (mountain people) attacked the lands of Alford and Kutuck. Kutuck was on the other side of the mountain although there was a mountain range between them, they were very close allies. There are many trade routes between the lands. Kutuck had a marshy boggy landscape, unlike Aldford which had grassland biome.

Kinbur was self-teaching himself to ride his griffins, by reading the books of 'Hunde Berer' (an expert on griffin riding). He had been borrowing the books from the Aldford library. The girl who worked at the library was 15 and was called Enoko. she had long blue hair that went down to her hips she had grey eyes that shined when you looked at them, she had pale skin and liked reading she was very intelligent and was part of the Ungter clan who excel in intelligence and magic. Herself she was a budding mage.

Kinbur's story starts when he was on the last chapter of the book: 'Griffin Riding VOL: 5' by Hunde Berer when reading Kinbur always sat in the chair in the corner of his living room. He realized he needed a griffin saddle. He closed the book and got up, went out the door and traversed up the road to the general store it was owned by 21 year old Denri who had silver hair and was a master at the battle axe. Kinbur asked Denri whether they had any griffin saddles. Denri nodded he went through a door to the back of the shop he came back holding a saddle "25 Moven" said Denri (Moven being the currency)"ok" Kinbur replied he pulled out 26 pieces of gold and put them on the counter in front of him. Denri counted the gold pieces and gave back 1 piece "one too many" Denri said gloomily. "Thanks" Kinbur said whilst leaving.

When coming back to his farm he saw someone had set it alight the flames had gone down now but his crops had been destroyed his house had not been destroyed and griffins unharmed. He opened the door to his house and picked up the book again he read the final pages and took his saddle to the strongest griffin. Its name was Burak; he saddled him up and got on his back. The animal retaliated but soon calmed down. Kinbur recited the instructions on taking off under his breath, he pulled up on the handle of the saddle the griffin shrieked and took off. Burak was a proud griffin he was the leader of the colony so he tried never to make a fool of himself, but today he was going to anyway. When taking off Kinbur steered Burak in to the mountain face the griffin shrieked and kept flying this time not letting Kinbur take control. They flew over aldford past the burnt field over the ivory castle where he could an overcrowded courtyard for him a pessimist he suspected it being a rebellion but it was not it was a protest for the arsonists destroying their work for their money the lady of the castle would not come out. Kinbur kept on flying his near the west borders to Nueger. Nueger was a barren land only had grass on the borders of the different regions. The best was to describe it is Nueger is just one big dessert with a city in the middle. Knowing that it was a city full of bandits he steered away and went Zucher. Zucher was a seaside town. Kinbur could see that Burak was tired so he landed in the dock.

As they landed a man came up to Kinbur "help us help us! Please, please!" "with what" Kinbur replied " a storm giant is attacking the town" the man said back to Kinbur "well, umm I am only 14 I don't have a sword or any kind of weapon" Kinbur replied "tell you what then ill lend a sword if you can defeat it you can have?" the man asked him "well ok" Kinbur said in return. The man pulled a sword out a carrier on his back. It was big with a rectangle hole in the middle of the sword that went up to the point and to the handle it was like two blade stuck together. Kinbur knew storm giants he got on Burak. Burak flew up to the giants shoulder...
