(Part 1 of 2)

(Y/n's pov)

...for the past couple of weeks Lawrence has been acting strange, and as in strange, I mean sweet...Too sweet...of course he's always had this prince charming persona that always seems to make me blush and shy away but recently he's been complementing me and giving me the daisies he's picked off the schools front yard!! Not to mention he's been offering me his snacks at lunch and has been texting and calling me alot more, as well as letting me copy off his work if I need too and staring down any guy that looks at me. I'm not saying I dislike the extra care and attention, fact is that I've liked him for a very long time now!! I just don't know if he likes me back...well, we'll have to find out, cause I've chosen to confront him today after school!

(3rd person)

Y/n sat at her desk in science waiting for school bell to ring, it was the last class of the day and her and Lawrence had a study session at her house after school for a upcoming test that they both had, she slowly started to pack up her stuff, putting everything away she made sure that she didn't feel like she probably forgot something. Y/n could basically feel the adrenaline pump through her veins when the school bell rang as everyone basically jumped out of their seats, impatient to go home and relax.

Shoving her way through the crowd of people that was her classmates she walked down the hall finding Lawrence standing next to his classroom door waiting for her "How was science?" He asked with a welcoming smile following by her side stride for stride down the long noisy corridor, "Its was boring, per usual." She chuckled "how was English?"that made Lawrence think for a moment "well...it was definitely long that's for sure.." Y/n looked at him with concern written on her face "Really?...what made it long?" She asked "...well it definitely had to do with the fact that you weren't with me to make it better." He looked down and smiled at her, the action alone made her heart flutter with love and adoration.

"Oh well...that is a big problem now isn't it!" She softly chuckled trying to hide the excessive amount of blush painted across her cheeks, as they walked through what seemed like endless doorways leading to the mazes that we the school hallways when finally they were met with the light of the school yard and she jogged out impatient with trying to get home and get this weird tension that resided in her since the night before when she had declared to herself that she was gonna tell him about her feelings as well as confront the possible existence of him sharing the same ones.

(Time skip)

They had both gotten to her house safe and sound and were both sitting at her desk in office chairs with papers spread out all over the wooden table where they both sat, but instead of talking about the test they had to study for it seems they both just dont care anymore and are now talking about their favorite show, criminal minds, "okay yeah Gidieon is like super smart and stuff but spencers an ACTUAL genius! Theres no point in arguing cause you know I'm right!!" Lawrence huffed "hmm, well in my opinion parentis is actually the best character because she is the most badass out of the whole show."

Y/n felt a tang of jealousy arise within her but pushed it aside "Hey Lawrence, I have a question. You've been acting awfully strange around me lately and I was just wondering if there was any reason?" She asked hesitantly, ready to back herself up if her feelings were not returned, "well...there is actually, Y/n, I've had feelings for you for along time now and I was just wondering if you would like to go out on a date with me?" He asked with a small smile of hope in his face.

Her eyes widened "y-yes of course!! Iw ould love too!! But-... you're parents... I thought they didn't want you dating anyone?" She stumbled out to ask, he held her hand in his for comfort "Dont worry it's fine, I'm eighteen and that means they technically dont have any say over what I do and have no responsibility for me anymore,but seeing as I'm still living under their roof we might just have to keep it a secret till we get our own place..." be said with his usual warm smile which made her soar with excitement for this whole new adventure.
