Kota walked around the small empty cafe she worked at, finding the breakroom and picking up the lunch she had half eaten earlier that day passing the only other barista working tonight. The cafe was closing up and almost everyone had gone home except the manager, her, and her coworker alex, it was dark outside and it was even raining a little bit. Kota sighed, finding support on the backroom fridge as she chugged down the lukewarm bottle of water she had brought with her that day, she was about to pull her car keys out of her pocket when she heard the front doors chime as a customer walked in.

"Don't worry I'll get this one," She told Alex who was clearly tired and annoyed from all the rude customers they had that same afternoon "you just get ready to pack up and leave." She patted his shoulder lightly as she strode past him getting ready to put on a cheery voice as she walked up to the main counter. As she turned the corner she saw a familiar red haired customer who usually comes in almost every other day, maybe more, "Hello what can I get you this evening?" She asked with a small smile on her face, even though it was forced it was still friendly.

The guy yawned and looked at her with a awkward face"can I get some hot coco with whipped cream and sprinkles?...its for a friend..." she smiled at his childish request, finding it cute, "coming right up sir!" She nodded and rushed to make his hot coco and just let her go home. Putting the last of the whipped cream and sprinkles on top she slid it across the counter, typing it into the cash register "that will be 2.50!" She said looking up seeing him eyeing the advertisements for the new upcoming spiderman movie that was coming out "you like marvel?" She asked as he handed her the change "oh um...no that's just childish stuff."

Kota shook her head slightly with a small smirk on her face "Darn, I actually really like marvel! have any little siblings? I'm sure they love you after you getting them hot coco almost everyday." She giggled ripping the receipt from its slot and handing it to him "oh, yeah, totally have siblings um...so...you like marvel? Maybe we could go see the new movie sometime?..."he offered with a small cocky smirk, kota smiled and shook her head once again with a sigh "hm...I dont know...I thought you said liking that kinda stuff was childish?" She quizzed "I was just kidding!! So?...how about that date?..." Kota sighed "alright you've got a deal, but I need a name and number first." He crossed his arms "Oi! Its supposed to be a guy asking a girl for her number not the other way around!"

He frowned "alright alright" kota giggled "you want it to be the other way around? Fine." She said stealing the receipt from his hands, taking a pen and writing her name and number on the back, giving it back to him. "Now seriously I need you're name I cant go wandering off with a stranger!" She jokingly dramatized, he held his hand out "Zion." She shook it "Kota." They let go, "alright well it's been fun, but I really gotta close up shop and im sure whatever little sibling of yours waiting for their hot chocolate and melted whipped cream is getting a little impatient." She said taking her apron off,

"okay, well it's been great talking to you and uh...maybe get to talk to you a little more on that date?..."   he asked "sure Zion now get get you're butt outta here so we can all go home!!" She laughed "fine! Alright! Be patient I'm leaving jeez!!" Zion complained turning and walking out the front door, she shook her head as she looked at him through the shop windows as he poked his tongue out at her he pretended to stomp off like a army soldier. Kota stood in place for a few seconds shaking her head..."wait...what the hell just happened?...oh well..." she asked herself shrugging it off getting  focused on getting back home.
