Chapter 2 - It's Been A While

You and Hiro arrived at the cafeteria and when both of you got inside there are so many students as usual roaming around getting their meals. You smiled at the site then suddenly you heard a voice, "(Y/N)! Over here!". You noticed and turned to see Honey and the rest of the team waving and calling me. You smiled and said, "Hi Honey Lemon!". Hiro noticed you and said, "You found their table?". You nodded and he smiled in response. Both of you got went to the table and both of you sat down. "Hey guys!", You and Hiro said with a smile. "Hey!", they said in unison. "Hey (Y/N)!", Honey said and hugged you then you returned the hug. "Did you get your lunch yet?", Wasabi asked with a smile. "Oh not yet", you said with a smile. "Well then (Y/N). Let's go get our lunch", Hiro said. You nodded and both you and Hiro stood up and get your lunch. Afterwards both of you came back and sat on the table with the team. You got macaroni and cheese, iced tea and brownies for lunch. You smelled it and said, "Man, this smells delicious!". The team smiled and giggled on your response when it comes to food and other things. You started eating and Honey said, "So, how are you today, (Y/N)?". "I'm good Honey Lemon and how are you guys doing?", you replied while eating slowly. Honey was about to speak until Fred joined the conversation. "We are totally great. We beaten up some robot baddies at the city last week and it was so awesome!", Fred exclaimed. You chuckled softly and said, "Really? That's great. I'm glad your protecting the city from harm". They smiled and Gogo said, "Well, that's our duty and we are getting the hang of it". You smiled and nodded then Wasabi said, "Hmm...it's 6 months already and it's almost December!". "Which means it's Christmas! Woohoo!", Fred said with a smile. "And snow!", you exclaimed with happiness. They chuckled and both me and Hiro continued eating. Snow has always been the best part of December. You were grown to like snow because always makes you happy and glad at the same time. You smiled thinking about it and continued eating your meal and later on you and the rest of the team left the cafeteria.

You were walking at the hallway with your friends and Fred said, "Man! Only a few more subjects and we are going home". "Yup. I can't wait to try out my bike", Gogo said. You smiled and Honey said, "So, (Y/N)!". "Yeah?", you asked with a smile. "How are you and Hiro? You guys looking out and care for each other?", she said and giggled. You blushed and glance at Hiro for a moment then you turned to Honey again and said, "Both of us are fine, Honey". "That's great! And you guys are still a cute couple. Hehehe", she said and giggled. You blushed even more and smiled at her response. You glanced at Hiro again and it looks like he is talking to the Wasabi and Fred right now. You smiled and thought, 'It's been since I hang out with this group. I'm so glad I met them in my life'. Hiro noticed you looking at him then he came to you quietly and said, "What is it, (Y/N)?". You yelped softly and turned to Hiro then you said, "H-Hiro! Goodness gravy, you came here unexpectedly". He giggled and hold your hand gently then he squeezed it. You looked at your hand and back to Hiro then you smiled gently. "Your so sweet Hiro", you said and Hiro gave you a kiss on the cheek then he replied, "Why thank you". You smiled and suddenly the rest of the team noticed you and Hiro then they giggled. You smiled and asked, "So, uh...". You stopped then Hiro said, "Hmm...". He's waiting for you to respond and you apparently are thinking what are you gonna say for a moment. You thought for a moment then you finally spoke, "I remember the times you came to me unexpectedly". "Really? When?", he asked you and smirked with a chuckle. "Yeah. Like the time, I was playing Five Nights At Freddy's 2 all alone in my room because I just want to try this game and I almost forgot that you were coming over at my place that time. I was too focused on the game because maybe in a minute or second, one of the animatronics might get me for sure. So, I decided to focus then suddenly I probably heard the door open but I didn't mind. Then you hugged me unexpectedly and I was shocked yet jumped by your entrance then suddenly Foxy The Pirate got me and I was double jumped". You finished your story-telling and you saw Hiro trying to hold his laughter. You noticed and pouted a bit. Hiro coughed slightly and said, "Oh yeah. I remembered that. That was last month. I wouldn't forgotten about that besides I remembered your reaction". I blushed from embarrassment and said shyly, "Oh you saw that. Hehehe. Sorry that was embarrassing". He smiled and kissed your cheek then he ruffled your hair softly. You smiled and suddenly the school bell rang. You jumped and hugged Hiro then he hugged back. You noticed that you were hugging him so you looked up. "Oh..sorry", you said with a smile. He smiled and said, "You know I've been telling this but your reactions are sometimes funny yet cute at the same time". You just smiled with a blush on your face in response and suddenly Fred interrupted your moment with Hiro, "You know, you guys really are a cute couple". You and Hiro gasped and turned to your friends. Honey giggled as usual and she took a photo of you and Hiro. Gogo and Wasabi just smiled and gave a thumbs up. Both of you blushed in response and I said, "Well, um. We should probably get back to class" . They nodded happily and Honey said, "Yeah, see ya later guys!". "See ya", you and Hiro said and the six of you said 'goodbye' with a wave then both you and Hiro went back to the classroom.
