AmberEye glanced sheepishly at her mother; GooseFur. "So your having your second litter?" She asked. "Yes, AmberEye. You need to look after them." AmberEye tilted her head. "Why?" Suddenly GooseFur's ragged fur stopped rising and her eyes grew dull. "No!" Yelled AmberEye. She saw three kits laying on the Nursery ground. SmallKit, LeafKit and SwanKit. "Come along," she groaned nudging the kits to an older Queen.
