A/N: Hey guys! So I'm reviewing my chapters now and making some small edits in them. Not really important edits, just the tiny details that I left out. You don't have to reread it if you are an old reader, because these are just some tiny details that I have mentioned in some other chapters in brackets. I just thought I should fix this so that the storyline is more consistent. Anyways, read on!

Annabeth's POV
My name is Annabeth Chase. I am 12 years old, and I am a spy-in-training for SEA, the Secret Espionage Agency. I study at SO, a secret school for wannabe spies. And yes, I said spies. Now don't ask me what SO means, because to be honest, I don't know. Only the top brass in our intelligence organization know what that stands for. So the rest of us like to call it Spy School. (Reference, anyone?) Oh yeah, and the fact that I went to Spy School, in fact, the existence of Spy School, was a very closely guarded secret. No one outside our world of spies knew about this school, not even our families. To them and everyone else, we went to an elite boarding school called Landon Preparatory Academy. And yeah, it was a boarding school. We lived in the dormitories on campus.

We have many different subjects at Spy School just like regular school, except our subjects are more spy-related. For example, we have Espionage, Stealth, Camouflage, History of Espionage, and Counter-espionage, just to name a few. At Spy School, we also have different grades, but we call them levels. We have 5 levels, starting from Level One, the equivalent of 6th Grade, till Level 5, the equivalent of 10th Grade. I was a Level One.

"Wake up, Annabeth!" Piper exclaimed. "We don't want to be late for our Espionage class!"

"All right, all right," I groaned. "I'll be up in a minute!"

Piper McLean was my best friend and my roommate at Spy School. She was 12, the same age as me, and we had met on the first day of Spy School and immediately hit it off. ( I know the ages are inaccurate, but just bear with me here. Heads up, a lot of the ages here will be inaccurate, but I have to do it for the sake of the storyline) Piper and I had a lot in common. I'll explain later, right now I had to get up before Piper dragged me out of bed.

I pulled the covers off myself and sat up, yawning. I looked around blearily. Our dorms at Spy School were actually pretty cool. There were two dorms for each Level. One dorm for boys, one dorm for girls. The rooms were a reasonable size, not too big and not too small, and they were comfortably furnished. They even had a private bathroom! Well, the bathroom had to be shared between two roommates, but I don't think that counts.

The rooms were split into two sections, one for each roomie, and the sections were joined by a door in the middle. In my section, I had two soft chairs in a corner separated by a small side table. I had a desk dominating one wall. My bed was pushed against the opposite wall. The bed was big and soft, with warm blankets and a plump pillow. I also had a dresser on the wall to the left of my bed. The wall to the right was covered with all sorts of personal touches. In my case, that would be architectural blueprints and designs I was making, as well as some posters with quotes from famous people. I also had a huge bookshelf in that corner filled with different educational books for spies and some novels that I read when I get bored. My walls were painted gray, my favorite color.

I got up and did my business in the bathroom, washed my face, and brushed my teeth. Then I got dressed.

Now, you might expect me to say that I was going to dress up in some fancy spy suit or something, but that's not the way things are done here. Yes, we each do have spy suits, but those are reserved for missions or war games that our school sets up every once in a while. We don't wear them on a daily basis, and neither do we go around in fancy suits or tuxedos. Instead, we normally just wear a comfortable shirt and jeans, with a hoodie if it gets cold, and some Converse. Comfortable, simple, and practical.
