More Disaster

As soon as I heard that gunshot, I tried to move out of the way. I did, so the bullet only hit my shoulder, and Shiela's blade went down my arm...But I wasn't dead...?

I landed on the floor, trying not to ball my eyes out. God I was in pain! I was going to have a talk with those two after this is over....

I then heard screaming. I lifted my head and saw the Fire Flies coming out of Shiela, but not Star. God....Those things are evil...Wait what? Now they were coming in toward me..."NO!" I yelled, trying to scramble away from them.

Too late.

I felt them enter inside my body. Well, this didn't go as planned now did it?

As they entered my body, I felt a lot different...Actually, I felt calm and happy. I felt myself move on my own, but who cares? Oh hey look there goes a pooooooonnnnyyyy!!!!!!!

"Payton stop!" I heard someone exclaim.

Pony are you talking to me? Silly pony...You can't talk. Oh look a rainbow!

"Guys! Snap out of it!"

Whoever is talking, you're making me forget my happy trance you big meanie. That person is mean...RIght pony?

I suddenly felt someone knock me to the ground. I fell on my back, and the calmness of ponies and rainbows left my mind. I frowned, until I realized what was going on in the first place. I shot upward and felt a sharp pain in my...Well, everywhere. But I ignored it and looked around for Shiela and Star.

I blinked once, then I was horrified. Shiela had fallen to her knees, large wounds in her shoulders and arms. Blood painted her body as she sat there, panting.

I forced myself to move over to her. But when I tried, Shiela glared at me. "Are you done?" She asked in a harsh voice.

I nodded, then sat down on the sandy floor. "I'm...Sorry...." I said, frowning.

Shiela sighed, and made herself get up onto her feet. "It's all right...But..." She turned toward Star.

I did too, to see what was wrong with her. Star was lying on the ground on her stomach, and seemed either unconscious...Or dead. I saw her back moving as she breathed, so I knew she wasn't dead. But that doesn't mean she couldn't die.

"We should hurry and get her back." I said. I pressed my two fingers in my ear where that Com-Link thing was. "Jax...We need help...Like...Now."

"On my way."

"Be careful!" I warned, then signed off.

In a matter of minutes, Jax and Finn came running inside. "Hurry it up!" Shiela snapped. When Jax shot her a dirty look, she said, "Dude...We'll explain later."

Jax gently lifted Star in his arms, one arm supporting her back, the other underneath her legs. Finn asked Shiela and I if we were okay. We weren't exactly Okay, but we could still walk. So as fast as we could, we left the cave, and entered the ship once again.

 Jax left Star on one of the beds to rest a while as he went to get some bandages for everyone. Ryo's arm was still wounded, Star was unconscious, then Shiela and I had a whole bunch of wounds going up and down our bodies....Gosh Jax and Finn had their work cut out for them. I even offered to help! But nope! Finn was all like, "No. You're injured too. Please stay in bed."

Well that's a bummer. Yeah I still hurt a bit, but that doesn't mean I couldn't help out...Oh well! I laid in a bed, staring at the ceiling and letting Jax wipe away blood off of myself. I winced a lot, since the liquid he was using was some sort of medical stuff to clean the wounds, but I wasn't going to cry over it.
