Sharon Johnson's POV
I knew I just had to keep running, I didn't care about the fact that my feet hurt so bad, because I fell while jumping the fence, I knew I just had to keep running.
It was getting dark and considering the fact that I were glasses seeing anything was nearly impossible, I didn't know exactly where I was running or headed to, but I was certain I had gotten those killers off my back.
I was certain that I was in a forest, my late dad was a botanist and he made my brother and I follow him regularly to the gardens and bushes, well mostly me though because my brother was dead anyway that's by the way, that's something for another time, anyway I definitely wasn't assuming things.Wait let me make y'all understand what is happening here...
Few hours ago:
My parents, my younger sister and I sat in the parlour watching TV, it was a Saturday evening and that's what we always did it became sort of a norm for us, we used this as a sort of a medium for us to bond.It wasn't quite long after we started watching tv, that the door bell rang.
To me it felt strange because my family isn't quite the type that entertains visitors and especially not during our movie night.
Anyway everyone else was so engrossed in what they were doing so I had to go open the door. What I saw wasn't anything like I expected at all
I can faintly remember one of the four men who stood by the door using their elbow to knock me out face flat.
After sometime I managed to open my eyes, everywhere seemed really cloudy, and dull, but the gun shot that came thereafter wasn't at all.I turned around to see who had been shot, but it wasn't who it was all, my parents and younger sister had been shot.
At this point I didn't want to look back for any reason I quickly stood up while using the side chair to prevent myself from falling, I headed straight to the door, I thought they hadn't noticed that I was escaping until one of them took a shot while I was jumping over the fence, I was really lucky because I had just fallen over the fence when the shot was fired.
Back to the present:
I had ran my whole strength out and I knew I needed to rest for a bit before I continued the run, but I wasn't seeing any good spot.
I used the last strength in me to keep searching until finally I saw a large tree, I couldn't really tell the type of tree it was, because at this point my eyes had shut down.
For all I know I was already sleeping.
