"I am going to be late for school i have an english test today",i said while grabbing my backpack and getting ready to head out. "Wait do you need a ride to school i was just dropping off emily", said my aunt looking at me "no thanks i will take the bus", i said rushing to get my phone.
"Wait Mira before you go are u busy tommorrow", she said. "Well i am probably gonna be watching netflix all day", i said since i do that every weekend.
"Great i need you to babysit emily and two of my friends babies", she said smiling at me.
"Well i am kinda busy and i was planing on going somewhere with my friends", i said clearly lying.
How about you just bring your friends over and i will pay you all money", she said smiling at me like she won.
I mean i didnt want to babysit but i had no choice since i needed the money and besides i did not even have anything to do.
" fine", i said as i walked to the door not looking back.
Friday 8:30am
"Can you believe it Mr.Harris gave me a 1,000 word essay on the meaning of life", said grace as we were walking to our 2nd period class since we start school early.
"Yep i can't believe it" i said all sarcastic as if i didnt get the same work.
"And to top it all off my parents who adopted me wont even give me money", she added looking at me sadly.
"Why", i said kinda curious
"Well they say everytime they give me money i spend it on shopping", she said looking at me.
" Well it is true" , i said stating the obvious but before i could say something else alex showed up .
"Hey alex do you think i shop too much", said grace looking at him smiling.
"Yes you do", he said smiling at me
"Fuck you both", she said as me and alex started laughing
"Btw i was wondering do you know where stella is i have been looking for her everywhere", he said.
"Oh you didnt know", said grace looking at alex confused, " know what ", said alex looking dumbfounded.
"She is sick didnt she tell you", i said
"Uh not really" , he said looking around.
"Are u guys doing okay", said grace looking as curious as i was.
"You know what it doesnt matter see you guys later", he said as he rushed off.
"Well that didnt sound good", said grace
"Yep", i said agreeind with her.
"Anyway you know how you dont have any money", i said. "Yea " i was wondering if you can babysit with me and i will invite the others", i said
"And what do i get out of it", she said
"Money to go shopping", i said smiling knowing that i won.
"Count me in", she said all excited
"Yea you dont shop that much", i said laughing.
"Oh shut it", she said as she opened the door to Mr.Harris classroom.
Saturday 1:00pm
"Ok girls we have some food in the fridge and if you want we also have ice cream", said my aunt as she closed the fridge.
"Michelle and taylor mom would pick them up early and i will be back at 4", she continued.
