Taeyeon looked at herself through the mirror, her hand fixing the cuff of her shirt. She glanced at the moving figure of Baekhyun who had just entered the room.
"It's 7 in the morning, Baekhyun." She said, looking at him in the eye through the mirror.
Baekhyun had taken Taehee to the only restaurant that was open at that time, it was a cheap one. On one of the wall hung a trendy chalkboard with specials written on it, light bulbs hung from ceiling. The food wasn't good, everything stank there yet the red-headed girl didn't care. Actually, she had ordered double of every dish that seemed appealing to her. He had taken a seat across her and witnessed her eating everything in a go.
She was hard to handle. Once he was done paying, she forced him to drink beer with her. Much to his surprise, he found himself enjoying every second of it. She told him of the time she accidentally had horse food and how she found it tasty and began eating it secretly. His first response was giving her a look of disgust and then laughing –while slapping his thighs– which soon turned into a look of concern.
"You sure you're not gonna die soon, are you?"
"No." The girl sitting on the pavement next to him laughed. Both of them looking at the emptiness of a street that bustled with people all day.
"Wait," He had a look that showed how horrified he was, "you are not addicted to that, are you? Do you still eat–"
"Don't wear that concerned look. I found out later that it's not harmful actually, it turned out to be a fiber supplement that constipated people take so don't worry, Baekhyun." She said, bumping her fist softly onto his arm.
Baekhyun raised his eye brows at her before giving her a disbelieving look. "You know my name? How?"
"Why won't I?"
They talked for what felt like hours and when he took his phone out he flinched. "Oh god, it's five. I'll have to drive you to guest house then drive myself to my apartment. It will take me about two hours... shit."
"Chill out man, just tell her the reason."
"Like that's easy. It's your fault though." He huffed, pointing an accusatory finger at her.
"Baekhyun, I just said something. Are you even listening to me?" Taeyeon's face was void of emotion.
The look on her face scared him. "I sent Taehee to my guest house." He said, looking at anywhere but her face.
"Where was she in the first place that got you so worked up last night when I asked you about her whereabouts?"
Baekhyun knew how observant Taeyeon was but he wished it slipped past her mind this time, which unfortunately, didn't happen.
"Actually," He hesitated to say, "I admit it was pretty irresponsible of me to make my assistant find a place for her to stay but as soon as you asked me about her, I picked her up from that motel. It was so unsafe I had no option left but let her stay at the guest house."
"Wow." She let out a laugh of disbelief, "You never fail to disappoint me, Baekhyun."
"I'm sorry." He looked at her, waiting for her to lash out at him but she didn't. Her silence was fearful to him more than anything else.
"I'm moving out."
"Sorry?" He raised a brow at her.
"I'm moving into my dad's house and staying there till the wedding. There's a problem going on within board members that I have to deal with which means I've to rush to the company building if I am called at anytime and since it's closer from there, it'll be best for me. Also, you need some time alone before you're tied down to me forever." She picked up the coat lying on the bed and wore it. "Take a nap, you must be tired."
