Alexis's POV
Right now, I'm with my friends, Echo, Frostee, and Cisco as we wait for my brother to come with his car so that he can race with his enemy, aka Mitch.
Technically, Tony isn't really my brother, but he still acts like one. He doesn't even mind if I call him brother.
As we were waiting, I was looking at my watch to make sure Lightning's vision, my robot falcon, was working properly.
I then look up when I see Tony with his awesome car.
"Huh? What do you think?" Tony asked us.
"Uh, what am I looking at right now?" I asked as I looked up from my watch.
"What you're looking at is a ten-second car, my sister. I'm about to break the record that Dom set on this very stretch of road and become the next great street racer," Tony explained as he got out of his car.
"This sounds familiar," Echo said.
"Mm-hmm."
"Like maybe we heard this last month."
"Mm-hmm."
"Y el mes anterior. (And the month before.)"
"Mm-hmm."
"You realize all those times we're talking about, your car blew up," Cisco stated.
"Oh, I do not want to imagine that," I mumbled.
"Well, this time it's gonna be different," Tony said.
"That's because you're a Toretto. You're born to win," I said as I walked towards Tony.
"That's right," He said as he held his hand up for a high five. I jump up and slap his hand as I stood beside him.
We then hear an engine rev as I gestured for Lightning to fly on my arm. I look up and see Mitch in his car. To be honest, it looked cool, but not as cool as Tony's.
"'Sup, kids, The king of the road is here," Mitch told us as we glared at him.
"Más como el rey de los perdedores, (More like king of the losers)" I mumbled to myself.
"I got room in here for a queen," Mitch said, referring to Echo.
"Echo doesn't want to ride around in a car with a picture of your mom on the front," Frostee said, as he mentioned the skull on the front of Mitch's car.
I literally laughed at that.
I then watch as the others observed the car as I just stood there with Lightning still on my arm.
"Are those rocket engines strapped back there?" Echo asked.
"Hey, what's up, Mitch? Moved from car thief to jet rustler?" Cisco asked.
"Maybe. Don't worry about it," Mitch answered. "Hey, Toretto! Let's see what that soap box racer can do. After you lose, I'll let you detail my car. Along with your sister. The closest you'll get to a winner," Mitch said.
"Oh, I'll detail his car, all right," I mumbled with a smirk.
"Yeah, well, after you lose, you can wash my car," Tony told Mitch.
"It's the closest you'll get to a shower," I then added as Tony and I gave each other a fist bump.
Timeskip
The race was about to start and I was a bit nervous. What if Tony loses the race?
Just as Frostee started the race with his drone, I used Lighting's eye sight to see how everything's going.
