Hikari
"M-my apologizes... Aku-san..." I said, and he rushed over to me.
He pulled down my sheets a little bit and opened my robes so that he could see the bandages. He stared at them for a long time without saying anything.
Then he leaned over and pressed his forehead against mine. "First Ingenium, then you. I don't know how much more of this I can take, Hikari..."
He exhaled, pulled back, and kissed my forehead. "I'm sorry, I've been in the hospital too much recently. Brings back bad memories."
Then he glanced over at Iida and smiled a little bit. "Hey, Tenya."
Iida bowed his head a little bit. "Kazenikura."
He shook his head. "Aku, Tenya, it's Aku."
Iida ignored him. "Is Tensei OK...?"
Aku nodded. "Tensei's doing really well, actually. But I think he'd be more worried about you than himself."
Aku looked over at Todoroki and frowned. "I remember you."
Todoroki stared at him. "Of course you do, I'm sure everyone does. I was runner up in the Sports Festival."
Aku laughed dryly. "No, you almost killed my sister. That's how I remember you."
Todoroki didn't say anything. Aku's frown deepened. "Although, I guess I did meet you a couple years ago."
Now Todoroki looked confused. "You... met me?"
Aku tapped his chin. "Yes, how old was Hikari... six, maybe? I'm guessing that's how old you were. Your dad invited my dad's family over to dinner almost ten years ago. You had a bandage over one of your eyes, so I'm assuming you had just gotten your scar."
He moved his hand over his left eye, gesturing to Todoroki's red burn around his left eye.
"Although, I only saw you once. I don't think you were suppose to be there, and I spotted you looking around the corner from the hallway. Then when you saw me looking at you, you hurried and ran away."
Todoroki pressed his hand to his forehead. "I-I don't remember that..." he muttered.
Aku laughed. "It was almost ten years ago. I only remembered you because you ran away after you saw me looking at you."
He tilted his head at Iida. "I'm closer to Tenya's family than my own, really. His brother and I went to school together."
Then he glanced over at Midoriya. "I remember you from the Sports Festival. Midoriya, wasn't it?"
Midoriya nodded. "Yes, sir."
Aku blushed. "Don't do that. Just call me Aku, please."
He sat down on my bed and leaned his crutch against the wall. "Dad's really angry right now, you know," he said to me. "He almost burned down his office. When he came back, he told me about what happened to you, and I came as soon as I could."
"Typical father..." I whispered with a weak smile.
Then, suddenly, I remembered what I told Midoriya and Iida before I left to go to my surgery.
Well, actually... there's something I should tell you guys...
"Aku-san... I need you to... tell them..." I said, grabbing his arm.
His eyebrows furrowed. "Tell them what?"
"Mother..."
He blinked. "What?"
