Hello my name's [Y/N] [L/N] and I have an extremely powerful quirk, sixteen years ago an ordinary couple gave birth to a not so ordinary girl when I first developed my quirk at the age of 4 my parents realised it wasn't your average quirk, the doctors explain my power as something in the pre-quirks era, something known as a psychic.

I could bend spoons and win any shady games I wanted, I could have everything I ever desired

WRONG!

Bending spoons makes it harder to eat my food and wining shady games makes me suspicious.

If you think she's the happiest girl alive and that I have it all, you're dead wrong.

I'm the unhappiest girl alive and I have nothing.

Telepathy, psychokinesis, x-ray vision, foresight, teleportation, clairvoyance and many others.

Sure I can do all these things but for each thing I can do, there's something I can't do. it's sort of like we feed our pets they're lost the ability to hunt or when a mother spoils her child they lose the ability to become independent

So trust me, I've missed out some important experiences, hard work, a sense of achievement, the thrill of being thrown a surprise party and sure I never get angry or sad but I never get happy either but I should focus on the bright side, a life without up and downs is quite peaceful, that's what I thought but changed once I decided to apply to UA high.

"You got good grades in middle school? Why don't you apply to UA?" My mother suggested, I turned to her slowly and telepathically said 'that school sounds annoying already' i continue to read my book in the living room, trying to ignore her although she didn't get the hint and carried on.

"But [N/N]~ I want you to do great things and live to your full potential, it would bring me such happiness to know you got the best in life and you don't even have to apply to the hero course you could apply to business, support or general education" mum said in a 'certain' tone.

'She's trying to guilt-trip me, isn't she?' I suddenly thought and looked at her, when I saw her face made me full question her intentions but I knew she was going annoy me til I apply.

'Good grief, fine.' I grumbled at her

She bounced in excitement and grabbed a sheet of paper and ran to me 'she already had an enrollment sheet?-' she slapped the paper onto a coffee table near me.

"I'm so happy you decided to go" she smiled at me 'what a pain...' I replied and started to fill out the sheet in pencil just in case I got anything wrong, I decided to apply for the general education, it probably the most peaceful one.

'I'm done' I told mum while I walked upstairs to my room but suddenly mum told me the entrance exam was in a month.

'Good grief'

'Apparently there's a practical exam? For general education! Good grief' i went to my seat.

Suddenly a voice yelled out "WHAT'S UP UA CANDIDATES! ARE YOU READY!?" undoubtedly no one responded 'thank God it's already loud enough with their inner thoughts' I internally complained "keeping it mellow alright I get started, there are three types of robots that are worth points in this exam, a three-pointer, two-pointer and one-pointer"

'Wait why are their robots in this exam, THIS IS GENERAL STUDIES!' you exclaimed loudly in your head but you couldn't complain any longer because a student suddenly stood up "sir, on the printout, there are four robots, I would hope UA wouldn't make this kind of mistake, also you! The one with the messy green hair you've been muttering the whole time, if you think this is some leisure trip I suggest you leave immediately" the dark blue-haired boy called out.

'What a pain' after releasing that this was the hero exam, at first I thought I walked into the wrong exam room but mum told me it would be today so this wasn't a mistake, she planned this 'that witch-'

"Alright examine 7111, thank you for the question?" He inhaled and started to explain "the fourth one is zero points, it's more of an obstacle so I suggest you avoid it" and with that everyone went to their area to take the exam.

'I don't want to stand out so I'll just aim for 50 points' I thought as I walked to the gates 'and once I've got my acceptance letter I can transfer into general studies'

As I walked to the gates someone bumped into me "A-ah I'm s-sorry" a boy with messy green hair said 'it's fine' I said telepathically and tried to walk away but he suddenly spoke up "h-hey did you say that without
m-moving your mouth" I flinched at that and shook my head "oh a-alright" he seemed dejected and walked away.

'How could I be so stupid?!'

"STARTTTTTTTT" present mic screamed but no one move " WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? THERE'S NO COUNT DOWN IN A REAL BATTLE" everyone started running into the Arena.

I was sitting in my room when mum called for me, I walked down the stairs slightly annoyed 'what?' I uttered to her, she seemed excited which scared me because it means it's going to affect me "the letter is here" she announced and handed it to me and I took it from her and just stare at it with disgust 'i'll open it later' she yelled out "NO! come on I want to know if you got in" she pleaded 'not to sound arrogant but I already know I got in' and with that she gave me the look 'fine' and teleport to my room to open the letter.

"HELLO! young [L/N] I'm to announce that you have made it into the hero course, class 1-A, you scored 66 points in the practical and have a 79% in the written exam which placed you in 9th place overall congratulations we can't wait to have you at UA"
