As I examined myself in the mirror, Chaos informed my in my mind that he'd made me two years younger in order to fit in better with the people I'd be working with. Leo was already only fifteen, but I'd just turned eighteen in my world, so I was back to being Sweet Sixteen right in time to save the world again. Hurrah. I shook my head to clear it, then went back to my examination. I have to say, I wasn't entirely disappointed with what I found.

The art style was definitely anime-esque, but it wasn't quite the same as something like Naruto or anything. My eyes were still swirling green, with a more pronounced blue tint while we were in the South Pole. I took off my t-shirt and inspected my scars, simultaneously impressed and creeped out by how accurate they were. Like yeah, the creator of the universe knows everything, but when it comes to re-creating my body in a new world, the scars were a testament to the fact that he knows, like, everything.

Ew.

I ran a hand through my hair, grinning at the artistic way it ruffled beneath my fingers. Real hair acted nothing like this, but I wasn't complaining. Wait, did this mean I wasn't going to ever have to worry about having bedhead again? Epic.

I made a face at myself in the mirror and immediately cracked up, excited to share my new superpower with Leo. This was the world of animation. My facial expressions had no boundaries. My emotions could now change the very shape and size of my head, and I loved it. So many doorways had just opened to brand-new humor, and I was going to take full advantage of it.

So anyways, after I was done admiring my perfectly defined and muscular body, in all of it's computer-generated glory, I reluctantly put my shirt back on and went to talk to the old guy over tea. If my story held up here, we were off to a good start.

"Welcome," Iroh greeted, and I grinned ruefully. "I believe we both have a great many questions for each other, if you would mind sitting down with me now."

"I wouldn't mind at all, but..." I hesitated. "Actually, I might have to hold on to my questions. I literally don't know enough about what's going on to formulate a good question right now."

"You will learn or you will fail, and I do not think you will fail," he said sagely.

"Cool," I said, slightly uncomfortable. Everything Iroh said came across as so loving and wise that I had no idea how to respond. Still, I wanted to hear more of what he had to say. Somehow, the way he talked calmed me down.

"So, where's Zuko?" I asked. "And Leo. They should probably be there if we're gonna talk about important things."

"Zuko is discovering what kind of firebending your friend can do, and they are currently sparring outside on the deck," Iroh told me. I groaned and started running, trying to imagine which problems I would have to solve when I got there. Unfortunately, I was thinking along the lines of injuries and such. Leo managed to surprise me.

"Hey! Stop running around like a madman and fight!" Zuko shouted, throwing punches that shot fire from his fists. He pivoted around in a circle, staying in his stance and continuing to attack. I whistled softly, impressed.

"He's pretty good," I said to Iroh, who had caught up with me and was breathing hard. He nodded, too out of breath to respond, but he was obviously proud of Zuko. Then I looked at Leo.

He was completely engulfed in fire, running in a wide circle around Zuko and screeching at the top of his lungs. He didn't even try to dodge Zuko's blasts, opting instead to just show off to the world that he was fire-proof. He looked like he was having the time of his life, and I had to admit that the guards' reactions were pretty hilarious.

"Stay still!" Zuko yelled in frustration, throwing another perfectly aimed punch. Zuko's fire washed over Leo and, obviously, did absolutely nothing.
