ariana's pov:

it's out. my first album. who would've thought the girl from a small city in brazil would make it the spotlight? my dream is finally coming true.

i was discovered by scooter on a karaoke bar. call it destiny or luck, i managed to be in the same bar, drunk as hell, with one of the biggest managers in the world. and i got his attention. later that night, he gave me his number and told me to call him and i ever wanted to go big. and that's what i did. or at least i hope so.

i only saw singing as a hobby. i knew i was good at it, but i knew i'd never be able to archive my dreams in brazil. and it'd be also really difficult to be noticed being a latina woman. this is how the industry works. unfortunately. so when scooter gave me his number, i didn't even think twice before calling him. go big or go home right? we stated of slow by doing a few features: best mistake, adore, bang bang (which was a HUGE success and helped my career a lot), right there and a few others. problem was the one who gave me a chance in this world. and also the way with my boyfriend, mac miller.

and now i can't believe i'm here. my first album. with lyrics i wrote, melodies and beats i created. i'm so happy i might explode. i know the universe will give me great things.

shawn's pov

i was playing fifa with brian when andrew called me and said he had good news and asked me to come over as soon as possible.

when i got there, he had a huge smile on his face and......... scooter braun is here too????? what?

"good morning shawn. i'm guessing you know who i am?" he shook my hand.
i shook his hand "yeah! good morning. so andrew, why'd call?"
andrew looks at me with a grin "scooter came by and suggest something. it's completely up to you, but i want you to really think about this." he says "do you know ariana? she recently released her album and is currently touring europe, scooter thinks she can make it big. she's having a lot of success and everyone has their eyes on her. have you heard about pr relationships?" he looks at me with hopeful eyes "basically what you'll have to do is get close to her and hang out and the media and fans will do the rest of the work. initially we don't expect you to fake a relationship itself, you can be friends. but here's the thing: she can't know about this. it would crush her." i shook my head "absolutely not. i'll not lead a girl on without her knowledge. and for what? a little fame?! it's not worth it andrew!"

that's when scooter comes in "that's where you're mistaken. this girl just released her first album and she already has sold out stadiums and is doing amazing on sales. i won't even mention charts. she has every tv talk show after her and a huge fan base. she has the voice of an angel in a body the world wants to see. she's got the voice, the looks, the history, the fierceness, and talent. she's the whole package and you'd be making a mistake by not agreeing. she won't find out. she won't get hurt, you just gotta make sure of that."

so i give in "okay. but you guys gotta promise me she'll never find out about this and if she gets hurt, i'm out."
