Ten Minutes

I've been emotionless since then. I always spend my day doing things that makes me forget about love. I never knew what is it that makes people go crazy over love. I don't understand the sweetness of having another person to share your burden with and I never tried to understand.

I thought everything was going smoothly as I live my life for 18 years without asking for someone's attention. Seems like I'm in a deep ocean and no one can save me from drowning.

That's what I thought, until...

"Venea?" I look at him with a shock face as I didn't expect to see him here. I'm in a place full of green grasses and tall trees.

"Venea, are you doing well?" He smiled sweetly as he seated in front of me and I can't help but to smile back.

"Raizel, what are you doing here?" He didn't replied instead he just put a bouquet of flowers in the ground. I looked at him with a confused look.

"Ve, did you like the flowers? I specially bought them for you." My face turned red. How I wish I could tell him that I love him. I just don't know what to do when it comes to confession.

"Rai, t-thank you" Shocks, I even stutter. I cover my face with my hands to hide my embarrassment. How shameful Venea!! Huhu.

"I'm glad you like it!!" He cheerfully said. His eyes are not meeting mine. But, I didn't make a big deal out of it. Maybe he's embarrassed too.

"Ve?" He called for my attention and I suddenly fix my posture and attentively look at him. Waiting for him to speak.

"I-i love you, Ve." Shock was written all over my face. My face are burning as I blush. This, is this what they call love? It's been 5 minutes and I still haven't replied. I can already see sadness all over his face.

"Rai, I love y--" I was being cut off when a beautiful girl suddenly appeared.

"Babe? You're here again? Why do you keep coming back here?" The girl said. What!? Babe!?

"What's the meaning of this!?" I shouted at the top of my lungs and he didn't even gave me a glance. Fuck!!

"Sam, please understand. You know that you are the one that I love now." Rai said sweetly to the girl named Sam. He even gave her a peck in the lips.

I'm frozen on my spot. I can't even seems to move a finger. All I know is that my heart is aching. As if it's being torn into pieces. I can already feel the urge to cry.

"Rai, w-why did you do this to me?" I tried my best to compose myself and ask. But, he didn't reply.

"Rai!! Are you choosing her over me?" I ask and he just look at me and start walking away. Walking together with his girl. I look at him in disbelief and my mind was already in rampage.

"Raiii!!! Fuck!! Answer me!!" I said and I can't feel my body anymore. He.... He didn't even look back. It seems like he can't hear me even if I'm already shouting at the top of my lung.

"Rai.." I said as my strength was already depleting.

"Don't leave me, please" I said in a low tone. But, it's too late. They are long gone. My love was gone. I laughed crazily.

Why!? What did I do to deserve this! I-I tried my best for 18 years not to fall inlove and what!? All my efforts seems to go in vain. Because in just a matter of 10 minutes. My 18 years long protected heart was been broken by my best friend.

I tried to wipe my tears. Seems like I need a bunch of tissues to wipe all this freaking tears away.

But...

My hands started to tremble as there is no single tears in my eyes.

What is happening!?

The bouquet of flowers in the ground caught my attention. I slowly move my hand towards it's direction. As soon as my hand tried to pick it up. 

It went through it

I gasp. What? I can't understand what happening. Suddenly a strong wind blows and I can feel goosebumps.

"Veneaa" A cold chilly voice call my attention and it's coming from my back. I slowly turned my back. My whole body collapse as soon as I saw what's on my back.

My name.

I smiled bitterly as I finally realize what's going on. I move my body closely. Looking in it's intricate details. I then look in the blue skies. How peaceful life can be. If only we're together.

"Rai, I love you even after death. I will still love you." I said as my hands slowly touch this treasure.

My hands begins to disappear as well as my whole body as I touch my tomb.

"I love you Rai. I will find you in my next life. I promise."

I uttered as I completely disappeared into thin air.
