"Do I look okay?" I asked, even though I knew even if I didn't he would say yes.

"You look beautiful," he responded, "like you always do." He got up off my bed and started walking towards me.

I was standing in the mirror, looking at myself. I was getting ready to go out tonight with Brandon. I was wearing a kind of tight red strapless dress. I bought it the other day and didn't think I would like it, but it's growing on me. Brandon came over and put his arm on my shoulder and turned me around.

"Why do I have to go?" I asked him, while he put his hands on my hips and pulled me closer.

"Because I want to show my BEAUTIFUL girlfriend off to the entire world." I smiled and looked down. I looked up and he was looking at me.

"What?" I asked

"Nothing," he said, "your just really...beautiful." He smiled his adorable smile and I couldn't help but to think it was adorable. He was a lot taller than me. He was 6'2 and I was 5'6, so I had to get on my toes to kiss him. I lifted myself up and grabbed his sides, and gave him a peck on the lips.

I pulled away quickly, I liked to tease him.

"Is that all I get?" He asked me with a smirk.

I laughed, more like a little breath out of my nose. He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around him. I loved looking into his eyes. It makes me feel warm inside, and reminds me of when we first met.

He was on my little brothers football team. He was 14, I was 14, and I had a crush on him for forever. Him and my brother, Tyler, weren't really close which made me kind of disappointed. But I went to one of there football games once, and walking away I bumped into him. I said sorry and blushed and he just told me it was ok. When I looked up at him it looked like I was looking into the stars. We started talking after that, and 6 months later we had a relationship.

We just stared each other for a minute, until my brother interrupted us.

"You guys are disgusting," he said.

Brandon put me down and I walked over to my annoying 15 year old brother. I kicked him in the shin while I walked out and Brandon followed. I walked downstairs, preparing myself for my parents. I mean, don't get me wrong I love them, but they like to go overboard. They were pretty laid back, let me do what I want most of the time. They really liked Brandon which was good. They saw all the good in him, just like me.

I got downstairs and they swarmed me like seagulls. My mom, fixing my hair, and my dad, pulling my dress down.

"Ok, ok," I said, "I think I'm ok guys." My mom looked at me the way she always does, the 'stop growing up' look.

"Oh alright," she finally said, "just be safe tonight." Jeez where was I going, to drive race cars.

I went and looked in the mirror right next to the door to check myself one more time. I took my time, looking myself over. I guess you could say I was pretty. I had long curly brown hair, with blonde highlights only on the bottom because I've been to lazy to get my roots done. I had green eyes, and they were big. I had long eyelashes, and a big nose. I hated my nose, and it was the only thing I really hated. I wasn't a stick, and I had no desire to be. I had curves that every girl wanted.

I fixed my hair and wiped the makeup off from under my eyes and put my heals on.

Brandon beat me to the door and opened it for me like a gentlemen.

I waved bye to my family and walked towards Brandon's red van. Well, it wasn't his it was his moms, but it was the only thing he had right now. I got in the passengers seat and buckled up.

It was a minute before I realized he wasn't in the car. I looked over and saw him standing there, looking towards the end of the street. I got out of the car to talk to him.

"Babe," I said, "you comin?"

He didn't move an inch. I slowly walked around the car over to him and put my hand on his shoulder. Still no movement. I looked in the direction he was looking and saw nothing.

"Brandon" I kind of screamed, but it worked because he looked at me.

"What?" He asked me like he had no idea I had been trying to get his attention.

"Nothing," I looked away, "let's just go."

The party was the same direction as he was looking, but when we got in the car he drove the complete, opposite way.
