Monday

Namjoon always loves the start of the work week. Coming back to the library after his one day off always felt refreshing. Being alone with his thoughts is nice when he begins to sort out all the returned books and paperwork. On Mondays, Namjoon is always the first one there; arriving at least two hours earlier than when the other employees come in to start opening.

Namjoon has already relocked the front door behind him, passed the front desk, and walked straight through the main hall all the way to the back right corner, hidden behind the tall rows of bookshelves, when he instinctively checks behind his shoulder making sure he wasn't being watched as he opened a very ordinary looking door leading to a great hallway extending quite a ways down ending at a large and cozy study lounge with warm fireplaces. Another receptionists desk lies about halfway down the expansive corridor. Everything was empty and quiet which would probably seem eerie to anyone else. To anyone other than him, this place looks and feels the most natural when its filled with curious minds and has an inviting air to it. Not to Namjoon, though. When he looks around he doesn't see an empty library and an empty corridor, he sees potential and he feels the books, eager to be read. Namjoon sees the emptiness as an opportunity, a blank page that has endless possibilities of what it could be filled with. Curiosity in the air giving it an almost electric feel. Anyone that knows what to look for, could be able to tell that the books in this part of the library are special, as well as the people that usually fill it. Unlike the first part of the library, this part is filled with magic.

He gets lost in his work and doesn't notice the time that has gone by until the other employees start arriving for the opening shift. "Good morning, Joonieeee" says the voice behind him belonging to his life long best friend Taehyung. "Morning Tae Tae, how was your day off?" "Well, it was fine. Could have been more peaceful, but Hobi hyung came over for a swim uninvited. I swear he only loves me for my pool." Namjoon knows how much Tae likes his day off to relax and read so he chuckles a bit knowing just how loud and energetic Hoseok can be. As if on cue, Jung Hoseok enters through the door to the great hall. "GOOOOOD MORNING MY FAVORITE PEOPLE!" Hoseok shouts to the only two other people that are in the giant hallway. "Morning, Hobi" Tae says giving not even a glance in his direction, probably still recovering from the time he shared with the ball of sunshine just yesterday. "Good morning, Seokie how was your pool day?" Namjoon turns towards Hoseok and smiles from amusement as he walks towards the pair of men who are already at the main desk sorting things and preparing for the day ahead of them.

Namjoon meets Hoseok halfway the give him a small hug, knowing very well that Hoseok was coming to him for one anyways. "Hey buddy, did you happen to see if Jin was in yet? I haven't checked the main desk since I passed it when I got here... who knows how long ago now." He laughs off the laughs part a bit sarcastically although he isn't entirely sure just how much of his free time he actually spends at the library before and after closing everyday. Hoseok shakes his head no with a pout on his face as if to say 'sorry' like it's his fault that Jin wasn't at work yet.

"Thats ok Seokie. I'll go check and see, if you two don't mind checking all the doors for me and making sure they're locked?" Namjoon asks the two co workers.

"Yeah, no problem Hyung!" Taehyung responds first and catches the giant ring of keys that Namjoon had already tossed his way.

"Thanks guys! Can you open up the blinds down in the lounge once you get that far too?" He asks them, but has already started walking away knowing they won't mind. Although its already a far enough walk from the desk to get to every door in the hall and to the lounge at the end. Maybe he should stop taking his friends for granted so much, but then again they do still work for him. Namjoon finds that he has to remind himself of this more often recently that they are, in fact, still his employees.

Already to the door, he walks through it and comes out into the big, plain, main library, filled to the brim with plain books. Namjoon walks through the aisles and comes out near the main lobby desk to see his other employee has just arrived. "Kim Seokjin you are late once again. Am I surprised? No, absolutely not." Namjoon starts laughing when Jin looks at him with his lips in a pout to break his serious boss ploy. "Dang it Jin, I really thought I could keep a straight face that time!"

"Sorry boss Joonie, don't be mad at Hyung!" Jin starts giving the ultimate pout. "I slept in late again but it's so hard to get up after a day off! Of course you wouldn't understand, being the freak of nature that you are. When do you ever sleep?"

"Never, I'm secretly not a wizard at all, I'm actually a vampire and I stay up at all hours!" Namjoon taunts sarcastically making little fangs with his fingers.

"Joon that makes absolutely no sense at all! I'm sure even vampires sleep too!"
