The tall man was left no choice but to face his date for tonight.

A girl who looks like in his mid-20s was sitting on the restaurant's fancy chair.

She's looking very elegant right now he must say, someone with classes, definitely his mom's style, but not his.

She probably put some efforts since duh, her date is Jeon Jungkook, the famous plastic surgeon in Gangnam!

Jungkook sat on the opposite chair to the girl, not even acknowledging her existence at all and proceed immediately with analyzing the distance between them two.

"This table have .5 meter width, why the heck is this so small? This restaurant did not even put effort into making this table, stingy." He mutters, enough only for him to hear.

As if not enough, he looks around the place more, "This cheap restaurant is not my style at all. Look at those spider webs hanging on the ceiling and around the corner, what if it falls in our food?"

'Do they not know the basic hygiene that a restaurant must have?' he added.

And as he was about to critique the place more, the girl fake a cough, finally letting him acknowledge her existence.

"Mr. Jeon Jungkook, right?" the girl asked, with a voice like it was being squeeze out of her lungs.

He just hums in response, staring at her with boredom.

He just hopes this ends early.

"So Jung-"

"Mr. Jeon." he cuts her off, "Call me Mr. Jeon, we don't even know each other yet, this is the first time I'm seeing you, so please do keep the formality."

He gave off an oblivious fake smile.

"O...kay." she just giggle like a goose, "then shall I call the waiter?"

His date waited for him to respond but he didn't, only after a minute of silence did he looked up to her and hum in response before he looks down again.

Suddenly the ground looks more interesting to him.

A waiter went to their table to take their orders.

"Welcome to Maestro Cafe and Restobar, what can I get for you ma'am/sir?" the waiter asked with a huge grin.

"What's the most popular dish in your menu?"

"Oh! That would be Lobster Bolognese with Truffle Sauce, Madam! Not only is it pleasing to your eyes, but is also up to everyone's taste!" the waiter even motion a chef's kiss.

His date giggles again, loving the humor of the waiter.

"Great! We will be taking that one then. Oh and a cafe latte as my drink, what about you, Mr. Jeon?" The girl asked for his attention again.

"Sparking water is enough."

"Two order of Lobster Bolognese with Truffle Sauce, one cafe latte, and a sparkling water, is that all you need ma'am/sir?"

'Do I look like I'm in the mood to eat?'

"Yes." irritation is now visible in his voice and the waiter immediately excused himself upon hearing him.

His date probably would have noticed his ignipotent by now.

"Oh pardon my rude behavior," the girl once again, disrupts his peace of mind.

"I just realize I haven't introduce myself yet." the girl giggles, putting her glass of water down and bows.

"Nice meeting you. I am Michelle Kim, a plastic surgeon residing at Seoul National University Hospital."

The girl continues blabbering about her life, her successful career, her relationship with the world, and more thing that Jungkook doesn't even longs to hear.

He just hopes their food can be cooked sooner so his ears wouldn't have to suffer any longer.

Her shrieking voice and the continues crack on it sounds so annoying and at the same time, making it difficult for him to control his laughter.

While he was dying inside, his phone beep, a signal meaning that something good or bad has arrive to either make this date more miserable or not.

But right now, he just only wish for one thing.

He would rather go somewhere far away than stay here.

Hi Channies!

I'm very sorry for the slow burn, college life has been pretty tough lately (tho I'm still a freshman huhu) and since it is finals month, we were piled with several performance and projects which we had to pull-off before this semester ends.

Thankfully, I only have one project remains now to be completed (i had to make a website 😭 any I.Ts and Computer Science here pls help me finish this degree, before it finish me first 😭)

I will continue to update all of my on-going stories, although it will be slow burn, but I promise to finish writing it all.

Even though I'm very busy with my school works already, I still occasionally check-in here to re-check, re-read, re-write my on-going stories.

I also write here ideas for my new stories whenever I got one.

So don't worry Channies, I may not update that often than before, but I will never let this account be abandoned.
