I lay back down on my bed. "Hey Kody, I was wondering. Do you wanna go for a walk?" He lays back and looks at me. "Honestly, it would be nice. Even better because I'll be with you." He smiles at me. I look back happily, sitting up and laying on top of him.

"I love you." He kisses back, "I love you too Lumine, now please get off. You're crushing me." I grab onto him and flip him over so I'm on the bottom. Kody struggles and falls off the bed. "You see, that why we don't play around dumbass."

"Oh I'm sorry, so you want to go now?" I help him up and brush off his clothes. "Yeah, let's go." He says in a monotone.

We get up and walk outside the house. Once we got out, we sit down on a log out by the woods . The air was warm, with just enough humidity to be nice.

I looked at Kody. He was acting more happy than usual.

"Hey Kody." I put my hand on his. "Are you ok?" He looks at me, slightly shocked.

"Yeah, I'm just happy I can finally use magic; well...I still have a lot more training to do." He stopped for a second. I took this opportunity to hug him.

"Your doing fine. Your dad even said that you're doing better than he thought you would." I paused, looked at him and kissed him on the cheek. "You're doing great."

"I know that, duh. But I feel like somethings gonna happen. Try to separate us. And so I just want to spend all my times with you guys—"

"Hey, am I interrupting something?" I turn around to see Calla. "No, c-come sit." I say as I gesture next to me and Kody.

"What do you want Calla?" Kody said with annoyance. I nudge him in the side, trying to tell him to be more friendly.

"Nothing, I've heard you've been working hard on magic and I wanted to see what you can do."
