"don't think i've said this before but i've always hated these stations." corbyn mumbles fiddling with his rings. "when i was about eight they arrested me for stealing a chocolate bar.. think they wanted to teach me a lesson more or less."

jonah sighs and crosses his legs. "i got arrested for stealing a pack of cigarettes i was to scared to even use."

"no shit, really?" jack chuckles to the best of his abilities as he sees jonah nod in approval to his statement. "i wasnt arrested but i got told off by this off duty cop once." "'you'll get into a helluva more trouble with another cop rather than me, son, i ought to tell your mother'." he mocks what the past man said to him and i cant help but laugh along with the rest of them.

"what'd you do?"

"j walked and skateboarded inside malls." , "nearly shat my pants when he mentioned telling my mom." he smiled softly the aroma in the room settled down a bit. "how about you, zach?"

he chuckled and held up his board with a smug grin.
cops could never out run me

"well damn." corbyn joked as he nudged zach.

"what about you then zoey?"

"oh no, i was a angel." i smiled so wide i could laugh again.

"bullshit." jack joked.

"no lie!" i protested my stance but the boys just laughed.

our laughter died down though when the cop from earlier brought daniel back this time without the handcuffs which were never necessary.
    we all stood immediately asking daniel questions and assuring his well being but overall he seemed more vindictive than sad or mad. he just wanted his revenge.

"sorry for the mixups, you all have a nice day." the cop escorted us to the door where we'd meet the bright sunshine. i haven't seen one of those in forever- seems as though at least.

"he's fucking insane- filing a report? what'd the cop say it was for anyways." corbyn exclaims hoping into the back of the car with me and zach. we all knew it was pollen-  anonymous or not.

"reports of assault," daniel tore off his jacket and buckled up. "cop ran back the footage it was self defense." he added reciting the fist fight against pollen.

"okay, so is he going to look into pollen then?" i asked hopeful.

"he said he will let's hope he's a man of his words." , "anyways this isn't about just me. zoey if you file reports against pollen for sexual assault he'd be put away." the car got silent and the look on Daniel's face screams 'shit, didnt mean to say that.'

zach attempts to hide his board from my view and only for the eyes of daniel but i still Can read the words:

good going dumbass

and daniel mouthing a 'sorry' in response.

"is it true?" jonah now asks- i see his eyes in the rear view mirror for a split second.

"what?" i chuckle a small chuckle a forced one. "n-no- course not, where'd you get that idea from?"

zoey we all love you a lot we aren't here to judge

i smile a bit at his scribbled handwriting and torn look on his face, and his eyes burning into my own.

i don't budge until i hear a sign from one of the boys.

"alright, fair enough." jonah states pulling into the driveway. "let's just go take a nap im sure we're all exhausted and feel like shit."

everyone murmurs or writes an agree as we hop out the van.

zach though pulls me to the side before entering the front door- giving the boys a nod of assurance to give him a minute.

"what's up?" i ask, he smiles contently and scribbles in blue marker.

wanna watch a movie together or something
you know like we used too

i squint hard to read it and i guess that panics zach so he takes back the board and adds:

i only smile and nod continuously. "of course i wanna watch a movie."

he seems taken aback but opens the front door for the both of us anyways.
the rest of the boys scrambled upstairs not saying a single word and we're just left with each other on the sofa in the middle of the living room at dawn.
