Break the endless curse

Chapter I

Introduction

Break the curse, break the curse, break the curse...

Those words are in Meliodas' head all the time.  He has indeed tried everything to break the curse, but he must not give up hope, even if it has not existed for a long time.  He cannot break his promise to Elizabeth.

Yet as time passed, hope became less and less.  The demon is afraid of failing and losing his beloved again.

Many years ago Meliodas told even a strong magician his secret about the curse, but he had no solution, so he killed him, because the risk becomes too big to activate the curse if more people know about it.

Therefore the demon prince kills everyone who can't help, he trusts them, but not enough to know the secret of the curse.

It has been 3000 years, and Meliodas is still trying to break the curse...

Normal POV - Present

"Somehow, some way I'll break the curse...  Think Meliodas... think Meliodas!" were the words that stayed with Meliodas.

Meliodas is currently sitting alone in his room, which he shares with Elizabeth, because the princess has been spending time in the castle with her father and sisters since this morning.  Hawk has also joined Elizabeth, because the pig would also like to visit a castle.

Merlin is in Camelot with Gowther supporting the young King Arthur Pentragon.

King and Diane are also in the city of Liones at the moment, as they would like to have some time to themselves, but in the end they went together through the shops and bought some things like, clothes and fruits.

Then only Ban is left.  Ban is currently in his room with Elaine (Elaine is alive) doing 'who-knows-what'.

After a few hours the fairy king and the giantess came back to the boar hat. Ban and Elaine decided after some fun to go down to the tavern and prepare some food.

When they arrived downstairs, they first greeted the two sins.  Elaine decided to join Diane's and King's conversations while Ban went to work to cook something edible because the captain of the Seven Deadly Sins would kill everyone with his food.

<Diane's POV>

Me and King had so much fun in the city, and since we are lovers we spend so much time together.

When we got back to the tavern we were greeted by Elaine and Ban.  Of course I greeted them back with a "Hey Guys!"

Elaine then joined me and King and we chatted a bit about lovers and King often turned red like a tomato.

At some point I seemed to have lost myself in thought, I thought about the captain because he was very absent lately.  I was taken out of my thoughts when someone snapped their fingers in front of my face.

"Hello, Earth to Diane!"  King was trying to get me out of my head.

"Huh? Oh, sorry, King, I got a little carried away. What did you say?"  I apologized because I was a little uncomfortable.

"Uh, everything's fine, Diane, Ban just said dinner's ready."

When we picked up food from Ban, we started to eat when I suddenly realized that we had forgotten the captain.

"Hey Ban, you want to go get the captain?"  I said.
