I looked around the room. Noone seemed to be able to breath either. I smiled slowly and stood up from my seat, and walked to the center of the stage. My mind raced  intensely. But I took a deep breath. I looked the judges in their eyes. Then all the sudden with out thinking I sang. In fact I surprised myself the fears that I thought I would feel slipped away. I felt free. I moved around the stage and waved my arms around to make my preformce more dramatic. But to be honest I wanted to move around the moving of my arms had a connection with the notes I was singing it was like my arms and feet were a display of all the emotions I was feeling. I stopped singing and laughed a bit the  audience and judges clapped excitedly. My heart raced and I had never felt so happy. It was so amazing. I walked off the stage my mom patted me on the back. She looked me in the eyes and slowly spoke,"I am so proud of you baby girl you are so grown up!"

"Thanks ma I love you I wouldnt be here if it weren't for you and even if I don't win the cash prize for us I know we will be okay." My mom gave me that we will wish for the best stare and she sat next to me on one of the auditorium seats. We crossed are fingers while holding hands like we always did when there was money at stake. One of the judges walked on the stage. She was a short woman with long brown hair wearing a red suite. Bold choice I thought to myself. Then she finally spoke ," Well for starters I'd like to thank all the ladies who came out here to audtion , you were all just lovely. I'm sure most of you will have a great career in music , but sadly there can only be one winner." She opened a small envelope. "And the winner is.... Jamie Marie Gorren." I amlost died. I jumped out of my seat and screamed,"I won, I won oh my gosh I can't believe I won this is so amazing."

I ran on to the stage. Jumped up and down and had the biggest smile ever. I was so happy not only did I win $50,000 I am getting to make a song record. They handed me a big check, and the number for the record label I would have to call first thing in the morning.
