STEVE'S POV

I went into the kitchen and there she was, holding a knife. She looked crazy, her hair was messed up. But that wasn't the main thing, she was gripping the knife in a weird way.

"N-natasha... Don't do it". I warned

"Whoa, you don't really think I'm trying to kill myself do you?". She laughed " You really are a good comedian stevenson"

"Natasha, you don't want to do this..."

I was interrupted by her running towards me holding the knife up but she did the unexpected.

She stabbed herself, right in the stomach. My vision became blurry as I watched her body crash to the cold floor.

I picked up her now lifeless body and rushed her to hospital right upstairs.

Right now, I didn't care about the blood on me. I didn't care about how crazy I looked, I only cared about the body in my arms.

I was forced to wait outside while the doc checked on her. I had waited for hours and in the process even missed an important meeting with the council.

The doctor walked out of the door and came in front of me

"So, what's the deal doc?". I asked impatiently

"Well, i'm sorry but she's in a comma and has a very low possibility of getting out of it alive". He said

I couldn't believe what i heard. She was gonna be in a comma until God knows when. What was i gonna do without her?

"Thanks, and please, keep an eye on her". I forced a smile and he walked away.

I couldn't help but feel guilty for her unconsciousness.

"She's not coming out of it alive, Steve". I heard Reid's voice from behind me, i didn't even dare to look at him

" I warned you about this but of course, what do i know?".

"Enough! She's not gonna die! Natasha's gonna come back to me!". I snapped.

" Oooh, why don't you wait for that moment?". He teased

"Another word, and i swear...you're gonna have a bed next to Natasha's and of course you'd be in the same situation as she is". And that was enough to make him shut his damn mouth.

" Well-

"I said,

" The council wants to meet up with you". He said almost immediately

"I thought they left an hour ago"

"I have no idea but they say it's a very important issue".

" Whatever, take me to them". I instructed and we went downstairs to the meeting room where we normally had our meeting rooms.

"What is so important?". I asked as i took a seat.

"Alpha, we have a problem-

" Go straight to the point dammit!". I slammed the table

"We need a Luna". A member of the council, Tom said

" I already told you that-

"We need her now!". Lucy said standing up from her seat and slamming the table.

" What can the Luna do that i can't do? Do you want me to force her out of her comma or-

I suddenly realised what i said. Shit.

"I really can't believe this! We allowed you to waste enough time by not providing the Luna but now you're telling us that you have her half dead?! Is this some kind of joke?!". It seemed like Lucy was the only person disturbed by the news

"I really think that you should watch the way you talk to me, i still am your-

" You're the worst Alpha and i swear to you, if there isn't a Luna in the next three days, Reid would be titled as the Alpha of this pack!". She said before grabbing her purse and dashing out of the room. And of course, the rest of the council followed behind.

Before you ask, There is a head. He's just as useless as the rest of the council except for Lucy.

God, I hate this. I hate that I may never get to see Natasha again, I hate that I could get replaced and all this can go down to the Moon Goddess taking my mate away from me. I could even end up being a rogue!

I decided to go check on Natasha.

Of course, she was still unconscious. I took a sit beside her and watched her. She look like an angel, i just hoped she wasn't gonna stay like this for too long. I wanted her to wake up so i could tell her the truth about me. What she really was to me.

As thoughts flew into my head, it was soon occupied by dreams.
