chapter1 (Losses)

"Darling hurry up, you're going to be late for your first day at school" said a tall elegant black man in a navy blue suit. He was some how excited because today was the day he will get his big promotion 
*he stoped and stared into the sky and thought to himself*
"Am I really going to be the manager of Lux"
*he then smiles and jumps in excitement*
Then from upstairs came a short, well groomed girl who managed to catch he father in his moment of excitement.
"Father, why are you so happy?" Brianna asked.
With a melodious voice her father sung to her,"God has made a way for us my love," *then continued to jump in excitement*
After they both ate breakfast, they hopped in the car and was on their way.
Brianna was dropped off at the front entrance of her school, she was excited because it was her first day in pre-school. She was taken to her class by her teacher and was shown where to sit.
After half the day was passed and lunch was finally here, Brianna decided to go on the swings.
She was enjoying herself until a little boy who was one year older that her pushed her off causing her to hurt her  ankle. The school then called her father who had to rush out of the meeting leading to his promotion to take her to the hospital. The ankle was seriously injured making her need crutches. In her eyes wipe away her tears of pain and said,"Everything Is going to be okay".
He then got a call,
Daddy: hello, whom am i speaking to.
Man: hello mister Aprel, I am fireman John from the linden fire station
Daddy: is everything okay sir
Man: your house is on fire sir....
           In  shock the phone fells out of his hand and mister Aprel fall to the ground in panic, with a shortage of breath.
The nurse ran into the room and put him into a room to receive oxygen,
But he refused. He told them to take care of his daughter, ran to his car, and the drive  to his house.
The man who was talking to him on his phone noticed him and when to him and give him the details of the fire.
After hearing this he realized his insurance cannot cover the house because he forgot to turn off the stove.
After receiving this information he then got a call from the office at work saying he did not get the promotion and worst yet he was fired because they caught him on camera stealing the companies money.
In only two hours his whole life crumbled before his eyes.
So he when back to see the only person in his life and lied besides her and cried.
