Sickly Pale

Chapter 1

Waking up early in the morning sucks. Especially waking up to yelling and moving trucks, pulling my hair back into a bun I walked down the stairs to get some breakfast. "Morning!" Alli yelled from the kitchen, "Holy shit!" I yelled holding my chest "what the fuck Alli?" I asked rubbing my face and resuming my walk to the fridge. "my place had no food so I improvised" Alli shrugged, "so of course you come to my place" I said sarcastically "yea" Alli grinned not catching on.

Smiling I opened the fridge and got the carton of milk out then a box of frosted flakes, "do you know how bad that is for you?" Alli asked picking up the box, Scowling I grabbed the box from her and poured myself a bowl of the delicious cereal, "shut up" I grumbled munching on the cereal, "whatever" Alli sighed shaking her head.

Swallowing the cereal I asked her about the neighbors, "so what's with the moving trucks so fucking early?", Alli shrugged and started munching on her sandwich " I have no idea, But I did see two hunks coming out of a mustang to I guess that's good" Alli smiled evilly while wiggling her eyebrows making me choke on my cereal, "hahhahah" I laughed while choking on my food, "shit Bell don't die on me now" Alli laughed patting my back. "bitch I almost died" I coughed with a smile on my face, "that's your own fault now hurry up we need to go shopping soon" Alli said with a smirk.

I groaned picking up my empty bowl, "do I have to come?" I asked with a groan. "YES! This is my final year of high school and since you finished already I need to know what to wear and who to hang out with" Alli growled at me, sighing I nodded before sitting back down. " I cant believe im a year older then you but were best friends" I laughed, Alli scowled and then asked, "are you going away to college?", I sighed and shook my head. "No. I got a full time job at a building up in town one of has to get some money" I answered. "Im sorry bell I know how much you wanted to go away for college" Alli whispered. "Its not your fault. Its no ones now go get ready for shopping k" I nodded at her, Alli smiled and nodded before bouncing out the door.

Walking up the stairs I stopped and the mahogany colored door, Sighing I ran my hand over it before pushing the door open. Walking in everything looked the same but now dusty I would have to clean up in here sooner or later, walking up to a picture I felt tears forming into my eyes. A beautiful woman and handsome man was in the picture, My parents.... They and Allis parents had died 2 years ago when I was in 10th grade, after that my aunts stayed over looking over both of us but once I turned 18 they left and I took care of Alli.

Whipping my tears I sniffled before walking into my room and setting the picture on my bed side table. Alli would be back any minute so I put on my under garments before putting of a red flannel, black leggings and cream colored combat boots. Walking into the bathroom I plugged in the curler and opened up my makeup bag.

Applying some concealer to the bags under my eyes and other imperfections I finished off with some mascara and eyeliner. Once my curler was fully heated I started curling my hair. - 30 minutes later- I was finally finished curling my blonde hair into soft ringlets. "Bell!?" I heard Alli yell from downstairs, Grabbing a cross over body bag I put in my phone and wallet before walking down the stairs into the living room, "right here" I smiled patting her shoulder making her jump, "dammit don't do that" Alli laughed. Laughing I nodded grabbing my car keys.

"okay that was the best shopping day ever!" Alli yelled getting out of the car with like 10 bags filled to the brim with clothes, "yea totally" I mumbled sarcastically grabbing my 2 bags of clothes. "whats wrong?" Alli asked noticing my bad mood, " I have no idea I- I just have this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach you know" I sighed shaking my head that's when I spotted something through the window of our new neighbors house. It was two pairs of blue eyes glowing right at us... "Alli lets get inside now" I mumbled Alli looked at me weirdly but agreed to anyways.

Not turning around I quickly walked into the house with Alli hot on my heals, once inside I slammed the door shut and locked it three times. "whats going on?" Alli asked with a scared expression. "Alli you know the woods behind the house across from the street?" I asked her, Alli nodded understanding, "yea well I think some wolves snuck in their because I saw some eyes that looked an awful lot like wolf eyes" I said in a panic. "Okay calm down well just call the sheriff" Alli mumbled picking up the phone.
