Another Chance

9. Comfort

Sarada was crying. She blamed herself for everything. She felt weak, unable to do anything good. She finally got him back but she ruined it. She hated herself. She would do anything, just to see him healthy and alive.

She was sitting by a lake in the middle of a forest. It was the lake she and Boruto would go, if they can't sleep during the night. She wished that he was beside her, hugging her, but instead he was unconscious. She heard footsteps coming towards her, she looked at the direction and saw her father there.

Sasuke's POV

Sarada ran away from the hospital. I felt bad. I never saw Sarada like this. It showed me that Boruto meant a lot to her.

I should go after her before she gets lost or something. I grabbed my cloak, putting it on. Naruto looked at me "I should go after her, tell me if something happens' I said to him. He just nodded. I ran outside and sensed her chakra, following it until I find her. I start to get worried where she could be going. I started going faster until trying to catch up to her until I reached her.

He sensed her chakra going to the forest, he followed her until she stopped at a beautiful lake. She sat on the bench and started crying. He went to her, seeing her turn to his direction. He saw her eyes turn into her Sharingan but it had a different pattern. She unlocked her Mangekyou Sharingan and there He realized that her daughter had fallen in love with his student. He ran to her and engulfed her in a tight but comforting hug. "I wasn't strong enough!" Sarada cried into his shoulders. "It's not your fault, it's mine. I shouldn't have let you come with us." He replied. He starts to caress her head until her crying fades away, letting her fall asleep. He stayed there for a while before he went back with him carrying Sarada to their home. He layed her into her bed. He was tired as well.

Sakura arrived at their house, feeling sleepy. They were tired from today's events. "Hello, Sasuke-kun" Sakura greeted him sleepily. Sasuke greeted back. "Where's Sarada?" Sakura asked "She's now sleeping." Sasuke answered. "How's Boruto?" He asked her. "He's now fine, it will take a couple of days for him to wake up." She said.

She sat on their couch and layed her head on Sasuke's shoulder. Sasuke smiled at her wife. He told her the news that Sarada unlocked her Mangekyou Sharingan. She was shocked hearing the news. "How did she managed to do that?" She asked "Her feelings for Boruto are strong enough." Sasuke answered. "Our Sarada is now growing up, huh?" She said "Yes, she is" Sasuke said...
