Hermione could not help but smile. She knows Harry is not the type who dances, remembering the Yule Ball during their fourth year.

"Of course you may," she agreed and took his extended hand.

Harry smiled at her and led her to the middle of the living room. He put his left hand on her waist and adjusted his right hand holding hers. Hermione put her left hand on his shoulder and they started swaying to the music.

"This feels nice," she told him after a few minutes of dancing. "Thank you, Harry."

"You are welcome," he replied, holding her closer to him.

Hermione snuggled closer too, laying her head on his shoulders. Harry hugged her tightly, still swaying to the music.

After a while, Hermione looked up and saw Harry staring at her with loving eyes. She could not help but stare back at him. They stared at each other's eyes until Harry looked at her sweet lips.

He moved his face towards hers slowly, looking at her eyes again. He saw that she was not backing down but was also moving closer.

Then their lips met, softly and awkwardly at first. They pressed their bodies closer than ever, not wanting to let go. They deepened their kiss after a few seconds.

Harry licked her lips, asking for entrance. Hermione could not help but moan as Harry's tongue danced with hers.

This was her best kiss ever! She had not felt like this with Krum when they kissed during the Yule Ball. Even with her limited experience, she knows that this was the way she should feel with the boy she loves. And that boy is her best friend, Harry.
