"Come on you have to come it will be awesome, ember!" Lucy screamed through the school bell.
"I can't, moms working late tonight and she hates it when I don't turn up without a good excuse." they push past the arrogant tenth graders, forcing them self towards the bus.
"If you tell her we are studying, she's bound to let you come!!!" Amy says joining the conversation whilst bouncing from her bus seat.
"I'll see what I can do, but if I get grounded you are DEAD" she tried to put emphasis on the last word, but through the cheers she couldn't hear a thing.
The bus rolls to a stop making the three girls jerk forward as if some invisible force is pulling them. Lucy jumped of the bus but not before whispering something Un-caught in Embers ear. Well so much for living till the age of forty my mum is gonna kill me. she thought.
