Dani's POV:

Pag dating ng alas otso, tumayo na muna muli ako sa pagkakahiga ko sa tabi ni Luv, para pumunta sa kusina at subukang tawagan ang numero sa calling card ni Jacob.

Nag ring naman ito agad.

Secretaty: *Atty. Santilian's office, how may I help you?*

Dani: *Uhm, hi, may I speak with Mr. Jacob Santilian?*

Secretary: *May I know who's on the line please?*

Dani: *Uhm, please let him know it's Dani.*

Secretary: *Okay kindly hold on.*

Mga ilang Segundo rin bago ito bumalik sa linya.

Jacob: *I already have it Sophie, you can hung up- Hello Dani?*

Dani: *Hi, Jacob, do you remember me?*

Jacob: *I can never forget you, what's up?*

Dani: *Uhm, Jacob, I think I'll be needing an Attorney. And with my case, I'm going to need a damn good one, I remember what you said to that guy. So if you can hel-*

Jacob: *I can help- I will help you. But based on your tone, mukhang mabigat yung problema mo, we can set up a meeting, so we can talk about the problem, and we'll talk details from there.*

Nagulat ako sa mabilis nitong pag payag.

Dani: *Wait, you have time to accommodate me? You have no other cases?*

Jacob: *Wow, someone's being judgmental again yata huh. Dani, my firm is extremely filled right now and we reject numbers of clients daily, because we can't accommodate everyone. So don't worry, I am not scamming you, this might sound arrogant but I'm a great attorney, you won't be sorry you came to me*

Dani: *If you're filled then why are you making an exemption for me?*

Jacob: *Dani, you're a celebrity, and a very interesting one, specially after we met. So I know all about the news that are all over the media. And crazy enough, I have always disliked that Manuel Cruz, I don't buy his bullshit for one bit. If I help you, it's like hitting 2 birds with one stone. I get to bring down someone I honestly don't trust, not to mention the fact that this is going to be loud for my firm, you're a known celebrity and he's the city's mayor. And Secondly, I get to help you out again. Win win*

Dani: *Well, dun palang sa wala kang tiwala kay Manuel, sold na ako, when can we talk details?*

Jacob: *Today.*

Dani: *Today?*

Jacob: *Yep, I know my priorities Dani Entrata, Gerry's Coffe hub at 3pm, see you. *

Bago pa ako makasagot, naibaba na nito ang telepono. Well that was a relief, kahit hindi ko pa gaanong kakilala si Jacob, may pakiramdam akong, kaya niya nga akong tulungan sa bagay na ito.

Luv: "Baby? How long have you been awake?"

Antok na antok pa ang boses nito.

Dani: "Medyo kanina pa actually. Hindi ako masyadong nakatulog."

Luv: "Were you talking with someone?"

Dani: "Yes, I was just on the phone with Jacob."

Luv: "The lawyer?"

Dani: "Oo and guess what? He's willing to help me-"

Luv: "That's convenient. Baby, I don't mean to sound negative or anything, but you don't even know the guy that much, are you sure you can trust him?"
