Chapter 0: Prologue

January 1, 2099. Archie's New Year's Day Party.

"5...4...3...2...1! Happy New Year!" Says the crowd at the party.

Everyone goes around saying happy new year to each other. There are about 15 people at the party.

2 hours later. Archie, his brother and some of his friends are sitting together on his living room couch after playing a few rounds of Uno. Archie's best friend Eli/ moderator of the group goes to the bathroom to fix his blue button up shirt that got a bit undone after he was partying so much.

"2099? That sure isn't awkward," says Asher sarcastically.

''Why do you complain about everything? Can you shut up for once,'' says Manuela.

"Wow, I'm sorry my simple joke offended you so much," Asher says as he rolls his eyes. "Don't you think you're a little too sensitive?"

''Guys, could you stop fighting for one day and celebrate New Year's Day with smiles,'' Archie says proudly. "Just because Eli is in the bathroom does not mean you get to fight again. And Asher, your joke sucked."

"Whatever."

"How about you shut up too, Archie.'' Says Manuela

"You are so immature. Grow up"

Suddenly, out of the blue 5 seconds later, Manuela slaps Archie in the face.

"What was that for. You know what? How about you just leave. I can't deal with your immaturity anymore. I'm done with you, bitch."

Manuela leaves with an angry look on her face but deep down, she feels sad, losing her best friend and all. She goes home and goes to sleep.

Later that day. 2:00 pm

Manuela is on the phone with Kendale, her best friend. She is explaining the situation to her on the phone. She tries to hold back her tears.

"I just can't believe he would throw away our friendship like that."

"You were acting immature.."

"How!?"

""How about you shut up, too." Think before you speak. But I do agree that he should have talked to you about it first."

"Yeah. What about all of the experiences we had together? All the time we spent together? I guess I was just really drunk or something. I don't remember a lot from last night. I don't even act like that."

"You should go talk to him. Hang up and go call him. Now!"

"Fine." Manuela says as she hangs up.

A few seconds later, Archie gets a call

"What do you want, Manuela? I told you we were done. I should have blocked your number."

"I'm sorry. From what I remember, I was acting immature in front of your brother. Come to our spot. "

"For what?"

"To talk."

"We haven't used that spot since you broke up with me."

"Just go!" 3pm. Please."

Archie meets Manuela at their spot which is a small forest in between Archie and Manuela's houses.

"Listen, I know I was being very immat-"

"What is that?" Archie says, pointing at a very large house.

This house is very tall and looks almost run down with rust and mold forming on its surface.

"How is a house made of wood rusting? Why is this house so big?"

"W- what the?" Manuela is at a loss for words.

"I have this urge to go inside it. It looks abandoned anyways. You think we should?"

"Yea whatever." Manuela says, very confused.

Archie and Manuela enter the house and the door closes behind them.

"I can't believe the door was open." Archie says confused.

"Well it isn't anymore. Who closed it?"

Then they see a girl falling. She falls on the living room floor. She starts bleeding very badly. She's dead. Manuela and Archie scream in horror.

"SAMITIL." Imogin and Encurate say.

She was pushed off a very high ledge by Martin.

"You are sick!!!!" Imogin says.

"I'm not sick you are for believ-"

"Now, I'm gonna stop you right there," Estrice says.

Martin grabbed Estrice and tried to push him off. Estrice pushed Martin off the ledge but he did not die. Instead, he starts levitating and gets back up to the room that Imogin, Estrice and Encurate were in. They all run as Martin chases them.

Archie says confused, "Oh my god, what did we just get ourselves into?"
