I must admit that the last few days were being extremely crazy, and I was surprised every second. The night before for example of this. He kidnapped me and we worked together all night and most of the time everything went smoothly. Of course, it was still strange to be close to him, after all, it had been so long. I barely noticed when we fell asleep in the recording room, I had just called Mack and Phoebe to pick up the boys.

I was considering myself a survivor of that awkward and unexpected encounter. His music was good and he knew it. I felt the confidence emanate from him every time we went over the song, when we added some other elements, but it was perfect, and the bastard wrote it in ten minutes while taking a bath.

"If you took another minute, I was going to force you out of Alice's bed." Mack came in through the studio door with that smile of - oh you know what.

"I came as fast as I could." He kissed my hair while I poured myself a nice cup of coffee.

"I called you at five in the morning it's seven-thirty! But your luck is that I survived." I drank a long sip of unsweetened coffee that made me shiver.

Mack rolled his eyes and hugged me by the shoulders.

"He's not that bad, you have to admit that. If he were half of what Gavin is, your nostrils wouldn't be clean like that." Mack squeezed my cheek and I took a deep breath.

He always teasing me in the right way with the right arguments, and obviously leaving me with no answers.

"You have nothing to say?" He asked and I finished my coffee leaving the cup next to the coffee maker.

"No. And I don't want to go back to this now. Well- we have a really good song, and I think you're going to like it, shall we?" I yawned and he laughed.

"Not without you telling me how you felt that night at work, I need to know." He had a more serious tone now.

"At first it was weird. He rolled me up and used Pheebs as an excuse to lure me in here, I wanted to cut his head off every time I remembered that stupid song."

"Are you still upset about this?" Mack knew exactly how to calm me down.

"Yes- you know it is! I don't understand how he wrote that he was living the best moment of his life as we lost what we had most precious, and there is still that whole Boston situation-"

"I know, but can you stay calm? If you go through this I'm sure you will grow up and feel better" he said as we walked to the meeting room.

"Reinhold is too easy, too easy. He is only minimally pleasant because his shadow has not appeared." I threw myself into a chair while Mack moved something at the back of the room.

"See we have progress, you admitted that he is minimally pleasant, I am proud of you." He turned to me with a folder in hand and his lips were compressed in a smile.

"What do you have in hand?" I held out my hand as he reached for the folder.

"I was going to wait a little longer but since you started work now I know that you agreed." I grabbed the folder from his hand and opened it.

Inside there was the common paperwork of the contracts we signed with the bands, I knew what it was about, I flipped through the entire document without bothering to read, to tell the truth that hour in the morning after an entire night awake the letters were confused and I I knew that contract, at the end of the folder there were 5 signatures, that of John, Roger, Brian, Mack, Freddie and a space for mine. I looked at my friend and he was holding a pen, the look always attentive that gave me tranquility, without hesitation I took the pen and signed my name next to Freddie.
