A busy schedule

The next day I was the first one there so I was sitting down when Mr. Carver my new manager came in carrying a bunch of papers. He handed them to me and said, "this is you're new schedule. You will only be on the Henry danger set when they need you then after that you have other jobs to get to!" I quickly looked over the papers and it had all kinds of modeling jobs and acting jobs and it went through all hours of the night. "But this is so much!" I said. "Well every minute counts on the road to fame! See look what you're doing now? Nothing! We have to turn this spare time into hard work! It wasn't easy getting you all of these jobs and it's not easy to become famous! Also I need you to sign this." He hands me a contract and without really thinking I signed it. That was a big mistake. I went back to the schedule. "But when am I supposed to sleep?" I asked. "You'll have to catch some sleep whenever you can! You're a busy girl now! And you have to keep your name on the map!" Jace walked in and I smiled at him and my manager left. "Hey is that your new manager?" Jace asked. "Yeah! He head me going to so many jobs!" I whined. "Isn't that a good thing?" He asked. I handed him the schedule. "Oh never mind." He said. He looked shocked at the number of things I had to do. I leaned over and kissed his cheek. "What was that for?" He asked smiling. "I don't know. Just cuz." I said and I put my legs in his lap because we were sitting on a couch. Everyone else came in and Riele said, "awe look at the happy couple!"
"Shut up!" Jace and I said at the same time. We were just joking around then we were pulled onto set. We did what they needed me for first so I could get to the other gigs. We finished and Mr. Carver showed up to haul me away. I barley got a chance to say goodbye to Jace and give him a kiss before I was dragged into a car to go to a modeling shoot. It went on line this for weeks until I became so busy and I barely got any sleep and I was living off of coffee. But Mr. Carver was right. My name really did get out there and I became very popular. One day I was in the car on the way to yet another job when I got a text from Jace.

E I've been too busy to have time to miss you

E I should go I have to try to get some sleep while I can
J but I barely get to see you anymore except on set
E I know I don't like it either but as soon as I have enough time I will spend it with you
J I really don't think it's good for you to be living like this when was the last time you talked to your friends and family back home

E I gotta go I'm almost there bye

Jace was right. I never get to spend time with people anymore. It's always work! Work! Work! Mr. Carver keeps saying that "that's the price of fame!" But if he's right, I'm not sure it's worth it.
